I was just telling my 5:2 girls the other day the one food sadness I have is that before surgery EVERY morning I would have a peanut butter, Ezekiel bread and banana sandwich., That and a hot cup of coffee.... I miss taking a bite and sipping coffee in between to "wash" it down. Sad right?

Lol you and me both!! I breast feed both of my babies and glad I did but I never felt any competition about it... I will say I cut those little suckers off (haha little suckers) before they could walk across the room and unhook my bra for themselves though

When I was a child my mom dated an Australian for awhile..I never understood a word that man was saying One time he sent her to KFC and as she was leaving he said make sure you get some "drippings"?? Wtf?? So she goes to KFC and gets the chicken and stuff and asks the people there if she can buy some of the grease they fry the chicken in too

Let you poor stomach heal, then I'm sure the doctors can help you if you chose to convert to another surgery..

Yes OCD.. Sometimes the rituals drive my crazy When I was younger I used to mix mayo and ketchup together for my fries or drown them in vinegar and salt. Wow fries! The miracle food! Look at how versatile they are??? I mean shit even if you were to find a three month old one in the car you could still utilize it.. Like clean under your nails with it... Or use it as a coffee stirrer or scrape the ice of the windshield...

That's where that little saying comes in.. "They operated on your stomach not your brain" Face it MOST of of ate out of want, not hunger.. This is the most challenging part of WLS.. Sounds like nights are the worse for you? I say that because of the bed, wine, cereal ritual.. I feel for you, my husband would never drag our asses out of bed to go to a drive through.. You need to talk to him about what kind of support you need from him. And going to Drive throughs are not it. I don't think I could be that strong if I had an partner like that..

I think this thread encompasses all that now! I mean look above you have people getting off on French fries in milkshakes.... By the that's nasty! Everyone knows if you're eating a burger you put them in there, nice and neat in little French fry rows...

My word!! I've never screamed so much or said so many profanities as I did tonight!! Let's just say head first my work well for births but not zombie pits!!

To dry fry, I cut up my tofu and SLOW fry it with no oil or butter you can use "pam" non stick spray.. on a non stick griddle or you can use a cast Iron pan. I fry it on a lower heat to get the moisture out and crisp it up. I buy mine at trader joes (extra firm) Also after you dry fry it you can do different things with it...like marinade in anything (it is tasteless so will soak up any flavor) and stir fry with veggies I like it marinaded sometimes but I will also eat it just straight from the fridge cold after dry frying it. I will grab a piece and dip it into hummus too.

Is it silken or firm? I use firm in my cooking I dry fry it.. And then put it with sauces or eat it plain for a snack. I have a recipe to dry fry around here so where let me find it and paste because I'm too lazy to type it all out again

There is a saying that goes around here for the beginning days, it's "never trust a fart" It apparently happens to a lot of people... It's not something, I think, that last long term though. Hang in there, you just had major surgery and it takes time to recover
