Or a slim Jim....- Leave My Food ALONE!
Full price Oreos (no sale even) I could of bought 9 packages! Hehe yes I just looked up Oreos? Did you guys know they make sugar free Oreos now??? Go figure- Leave My Food ALONE!
That's the thing! This stuff is crazy overpriced. That box of cookies cost a mint?? You don't even want to know how many packages of Oreos I could of bought with that money..- Please help me friends
That's very nice of you deedadumble I will say I've done this before with one of our members a couple of months ago and it's not a cheap thing to do......- Leave My Food ALONE!
Haha! You know what she said!?? "Ok, whatever, they aren't even that good" 0_o Now she's dissing my only joy? I have successfully convinced myself these things are better than Nestle toll house chocolate chip cookies!!! She comes down in the middle of the night FINDS (because they were in my secret cupboard) my Cookies. Eats them LEAVES A MESS. Then has the nerve to talk crap about them! Oh, but then she tells me that my dill pickle Protein Krinkles where good though?? what the????- 6 week post op hunger?
Yep sounds like acid... Ppi= proton pump inhibitor, read this it will tell you about the meds, I would call your doc and tell him your symptoms he may give you a prescription or tell you to buy over the counter strength.. http://heartburn.about.com/od/protonpumpinhibitors/Proton_Pump_Inhibitors_For_Treating_Heartburn_Acid_Reflux.htm- 6 week post op hunger?
Are you taking a ppi??? Acid reflux mimics hunger.- Leave My Food ALONE!
I woke up this morning came down stairs to find protein cookies wrappers in the living room!!! Well there is only one person that stays up later than me in this house..It's a 17 year old girl child that I'm patiently waiting for to come down the stairs so I can pounce!!- Sleevers by profession.
Hmmm... I was going to post a study about nurses, shift work and obesity rates. But it looks like you guys have moved on to making fun of people you perceive as being not as intelligent as you?- OMG! What am I thinking!
Lol! Good! Well hopefully you will be one of those that are up and running right after surgery. I think being in a new exciting place makes people want to get up and out sooner. Me? I was a bed slug afterwards- OMG! What am I thinking!
- Just 60%? Really?
Statistically sleeve patients lose 60 to 65 percent of their excess weight and keep it off for a period of time... The difference is, do you want to be a statistic or not? I'm choosing to fight past the 60% and get to a healthy goal that I want. The sleeve can help you lose the weight but its like everything in life, you get out of it what you put into it..- OMG! What am I thinking!
Hey wanna, How are you? I hope your feeling better now that you are in your room.... Are you scheduled for tomorrow?- hello:)
And make sure your not still taking your pain meds- Your start date and start weight for the 5:2 method
158 I definitely went through a stall but I feel like things are moving again. My digestion has been great the last week..... I've changed three things so I'm not sure what's helping but feeling pretty "normal" in the digestive tract which is helpful.- Just ate a Cheeseburger on my preop. OMG!
Oh and here's a good read http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/78443-the-pre-op-diet-is-not-a-punishment-its-an-opportunity/- Just ate a Cheeseburger on my preop. OMG!
I'm not sure what kind of encouragement you need?? is it to get back on track? Did you blow a pre op diet? If so, I would ask why you had a cheeseburger? I doubt that you were literally "starving" so lets just say you were hungry? Or perhaps you craving a hamburger? If you were hungry is there something other than a hamburger you could of eaten? Or had you eaten all of your "food" for the day? This pre op "diet" and post op "diet" are different than all of the other diets you have done. So cheating really shouldn't be an option. You are trying to get your body (liver) ready for surgery. And post op the long torturous liquid diet is to let your stomach heal.. So my encouragement is... Its time to get your head in the game because you will need it there for now on if you want to be successful in this..- would you date someone who is perhaps less active then you?`
- would you date someone who is perhaps less active then you?`
Would I date someone less active than me? In a word NO... Because that would mean that he was practically dead, because I'm not very athletic But really... The person you described? I would say no also. It's not just that you said he's not very active, he sounds like he likes his over indulgence of food and drink. I would not do well with a man that was complacent with his fitness and diet. I think the complacency is exhibited by the comment about well its you that "likes to move" Eek! i would have the same worries (for very good reasons) as you! Now don't get me wrong this might work for some. But for me gaining weight is is getting to complacent and an Oreo away. I see it on a much smaller scale (hehe scale) when I hang out with my friend and her family, They are rather large and LOVE good food and drink, it's hard not to get caught up in the festive abandon that happens during meals (yes even sleeved) I could not invite that into my life daily, I would lose my focus, because at the end of the day I still struggle with food and diet and I need all the cards stacked in my favor. So my answer is no.- 5:2 Folks!
Hehehe....I like her style- 5:2 Folks!
I say the same thing to my husband. Except in my case it's Lenny Kravitz- 5:2 Folks!
