  1. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it I did lose the taste for coffee.. Before the sleeve I drank it everyday black. Since its just not tasted "right" But being the trooper that I am, I powered through it with the help of stevia and a few drops of milk It makes me wonder if other things tasted different, and I just ate them anyway? With my binging behaviors, I would often eat things just to eat them, not necessarily for the taste. Just to "fill the hole". So I'm thinking I'm may not have been as in tune with my change in my taste buds?
  2. I'm so sorry to hear this.... I really hope that this second surgery will be the fix that you need.. I also feel that you shouldn't leave us afterwards you are still a sleever in my book.
  3. I understand your fear, you've already had the "what if's" happen to you.. So it must be doubly scary this time around doing a surgery that, for some of us was even more extreme than the sleeve... Have you talked with the surgeon about the ramifications of having bypass at such a low weight?
  4. I just read this.... My first thought? Lucky b***h! girl, I never lost my taste for anything! I've been behind the 8 ball since the beginning. It's weird (not) how everyone is affected differently, I actually have found myself jealous of the ones that throw up or slime... I've wanted to automatic emergency shut off valve some of the others got... Oh well luck of the draw I guess. You've done well and you sound like you ate like a normal weighted person, so that's a victory in my book!
  5. Most of us do not, will not have this problem.. There was a woman a couple of months ago that had this problem but it was more that she refused to eat any foods with fat... You've tried peanut butter so I will assume you will eat full fat? I would suggest adding full fat cheeses and milk if your not already. How many meals snack a day do you eat? Can you try for six min meals?
  6. The best thing to do is call your surgeon.. We really are not trained to ok you to move on to full liquids. Did the surgeon day you can buy Protein mixes that you could mix with watered down juices?? Oh and unflavored Protein powder to your broth??
  7. Thank you for checking in! I'm so glad your doing well, yes get some well deserved rest
  8. Oreo Cookies, they make me gain weight....
  9. Hi girls hope the weekend is going well for those if you that are on vacation Globe sorry your not feeling well. Upside? Automatic fast day? Daisy, it's an herb! Much different I thought you meant a drug! Today I'm hanging tough with this weeks loss, My period is around the corner though... So you know..
  10. High guys! Everyone with new pictures! Looking good! I've heard back from two girls and they are still doing it so I'm encouraging them to be a little more active still waiting for a few more A problem some are having is not being able to sign in on their mobile apps HERE IS A TRICK I USE... Every time I log out on my iPhone it does the Denies permission to view the 5:2 group. Alex has told me its because the groups don't work on the apps. BUT....what I do is. Go to my "conversations" and click on the original invite to the group and it takes me to the full web version... And as soon as I do that I go back to the app and voila it's working again... Weird I know but it's the only way to do it for me...
  11. Please check in when you can. I've been thinking about you, and hope you are doing well...
  12. Losing weight sometimes is sad and lonely for a lot of us... They say because of the hormones being released. Doesn't help when you're feeling down I know. There will be someone out there for you, it sounds like a good thing that this girl wasnt. Who needs that! Hang in there
  13. You know the first week is the hardest... It's not unusual to have a sore throat stomach pain and so on... Just be kind to yourself take your pain meds if needed. If your start to feel really bad (high fever increased pain) put a call into your doctor. Good luck
  14. Welcome steve! I'm glad you found us. Your weight loss sounds awesome so far by the way

  19. I was reading a study this morning.. 55% of nurses are overweight or obese.. my profession ??? I am of the oldest profession (Not that! get your minds out of the gutter ) I am a mom and a wife. The woman on the block that all the other women send there kids to after school if they are stuck at work.. So much for ... "If a man will not work, he shall not eat" (2 Thess 3:10)
