members update

We have 19 people in our group, but we don't have 19 posting.

We need to update whether everyone is actually eating the 5:2 way.

I think I have lost 11 lbs since starting. I have to weigh cause I fasted yesterday and see if I kept it off today.

I glad you brought this up daisy!

We had discussed capping the group at 20.

It would be nice to hear from everyone.

And if someone is not following the 5:2 and not posting we can free up the space for someone new?

Oh 11 pounds here too! :)

I'm trying to follow. 15 July start, 3lb loss so far. I don't post in the group as much as others but I am here.

I'm still here...doing 5:2 since mid-June, still in my original bounce range of 70-72kg LOL. Alas, I'm still going!! :huh::lol:

If you don't post a lot, that's fine. We just want to me sure everyone listed is eating the 5:2 way. If someone doesn't respond, Laura , can you pm them?

If you don't want to post your loss, hopefully no gains, just let us know how fasting is going for you.

I think that's a good idea, I had two new girls join last week they met all the requirements and really wanted in... But noting yet from them? I asked to have new members post in the introductions area to introduce themselves.

Hi, my name is Georgia, and I am a 5:2 enthusiast. On vacay right and I hope I still have 22 pounds lost when I get back ( or I WILL have by the end of the week I get back anyway!). Started 5:2 about June 5th I believe.

Started July 16th and at the 3 week mark I was down -9lbs.

Still here, not using 5:2 on vacay, but CANT WAIT to get back to it on the 17th. I am seeing the scale go up and up... am still logging everything on MFP,and eating around 3-500 cals extra a day... so the pounds are prob at least half Water. Going to do lots of hiking in the next three days, so perhaps that will help a bit.

Weight lost before vacay- from June 11th- 11 pounds

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

      Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
