  1. I told my kids to make like baby bear cubs and go forage Of course they are a bit older.. When I did start cooking again I tried to make things I didn't like! Like pasta or spareribs (to much messy work to eat so little food)
  2. I just had two blood draws one 6 weeks and Another two weeks ago.. On the first my D was low. On my last one everything looks good (taking d now) Iron could be higher but that's my life story..
  3. “If you look for perfection, you'll never be content.” ― Leo Tolstoy, Ok going to the bad bad girl corner now...
  4. ''Finality is death. Perfection is finality. Nothing is perfect. There are lumps in it,'' said the Philosopher. James Stephens
  5. I'm glad you made the call. Whenever your feeling a binge day coming on just come here and talk about it! Trust me it helps, I find so much support when I'm feeling down and the voices here give me strength. Oh and the exercise? You know I'm a lazy slob! Really it's just one of those things that I have to force myself to do. Just start out making the commitment. It doesn't have to be long, my therapist told me. going outside and walking around the block is good enough. just make a commitment to do it everyday.
  6. Ok hitting the treadmill! Going to do 3 miles BORING!!!

  8. Ouch frank! Dude what's wrong did someone steal your jelly filled? I'm all for "straight" talk but crossing the line to direct insults is quite another. Dude you are crossing the line.... By the way people, stick to the pre op, its not just a "diet" that you can "cheat" on. It's serious business... For a serious surgery! Oh good read here... http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/78443-the-pre-op-diet-is-not-a-punishment-its-an-opportunity/
  9. Marfar7 You just made me think of the weight on the card! Ok even though I was upset when it took that picture it didn't stop me from lying about my weight!! Just looked sure enough, it says 170! Damn according to that license I've only lost 13 pounds I'm screwed!
  10. Yes you are probably right.. Good luck, it will be nice to see your progress.
  11. Done for today, came in a 472. The morning was a challenge after the high life I was living all weekend! but I made it. Weight seems to be holding steady this weekend even after the indulgent behavior... Yay! Georgia on the 100 mile challenge!
  12. Mine was my left hip...and it happened about six weeks it got so had I had X-rays and everything! I just knew my hip was falling out of the socket Nope all looked good. After doing some research here I noticed it happened to a lot of people in about the same time frame! I read and think its because of the weight we've lost and our body posture is changing so things are shifting and we get sore spots? Well something like that anyway Mine lasted about a month then just like that it was gone!
  13. Never mind I got my answer...
