    Hip Pain After Vsg

Go to a chiropractor. Omg fixed me right away. Pain meds only cover up the problem. Once you get back in alignment the pain goes away.
  2. You need to slow down because when you get to the food stage if you eat to fast it's much worse. I learned the hard way. You will get horrible pain in the chest and then I started sliming and threw up. It really isn't pretty. Just slow way down and when you feel full STOP.
  3. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of days ago. Went for my labs in the morning after fasting and then met a couple of friends to go shopping by the time they were ready for lunch I hadn't eatin in about 16 hours. We went to pizza Hut and I ate the cheese off a piece of pizza and I ate it too fast. Next thing horrible pain in my chest and felt like the food was stuck in my throat. Went to the bathroom and started sliming. OMG, then threw up. Had to go back out and sit there, it took another 10 min for me to start feeling better. I won't do that again. Didn't know you were supposed to go back to liquids.
  4. I pureed a couple of prunes in with my mushies. Worked for me

    Cheating? Already?!

I hope this makes you feel better. I had my surgery on the 12th at a Bcbs center of excellence and on our diet plan starting week 2 you can have mashed potatoes. You can also have cooked vegetables, beans, lowfat cheese, eggs, crackers and smoothies made with blenderized fruit.
  7. Im soo glad for you. It took me a year and a half to get my surgery . Long story, but I was sleeved on the 12th and I am so happy to be on this side of it and doing great. Good luck to you.
  8. Thank you, I'm tossing it

  10. I put raspberries in the blender but there are still seeds and now I'm afraid to drink it. Can't find anything in my diet plan book. Help

    Please Help!

I also choose the sleeve after a lot of research, plus I have 2 friends that have had bypass. You need to read everything you can but I felt that it was important to still have my body function the way it was made to and didn't want to deal with dumping syndrome or the malabsorption problems. I also felt it was a safer surgery with less complications and that was really important to me. I don't know your medical history but your doctor must have his reasons. Did he explain why he felt that way to you? I just got my sleeve on the 12th and am very happy so far.
