  1. It's pretty darn near impossible to stretch your stomach out. Unless you are self abusing and even that is super painful I am sure you will not stretch it out,

A Stall is no inches or weight loss in over 30 days. Are you measuring and taking photos weekly? Not everything is scale oriented.

You should be able to eat more now. Your stomach is done healing, you should be getting all your Protein organically rather than chemically by shakes. You should be eating every 3-4 hours.

Keep tracking and measure all your losses not just the scale.< /p>

I dropped 2 full pant sizes from a 10 to a 6 with out losing a single pound.

  2. There is nothing you can do about it. Don't waste your money on supplements.

Its a normal reaction to trauma, mine was during months 3-5. It lasted about 6 weeks and I did not lose all my hair. You will probably never read a post that says, I am bald. So just let it do it's thing. I will begin to grow. I'll bet my life that you have regrowth. It does come back better and stronger because your diet ( I hope) is better now, Good in good out

  3. I am sorry you have a pre op. That's no fun. You will be fine!

I did not have a pre op and to this day I say it is the easiest best thing I have ever done.

It would have been impossible to lose 120 lbs in 13 months and I lost it and have maintained and continue to lose by not doing anything but listen to my body and give it what it needs.

  4. There isn't much you can do other than not get fat in the first place.

I am 34 5-5 and I have lost 100 lbs. I want to lose 40 more, Do I have saggy skin?? of course I do, Does it bother me? Not really.

Will I have plastics to get all tight and perfect? ABSOLUTELY! Nothing in this whole wide world would stop me. I have had 3 friends that had plastics and each one of them told me it does not hurt. Is that what you are worried about pain??? Your sleeve or whatever your having surgery will be 100xs more painful. I promise.

I am planning a 360 upper body lift, a breast aug and Tummy Tuck. Cost $8500 in MX. I plan on going when I reach a size 0-2. Just 2 more sizes away!

    You will be just fine.

  5. You will be just fine. Let's put our big girl panties on and walk into the OR.

The time will pass anyway, Are you going to be miserable ( in more ways than 1) or will you decide that finally you will get your weight under control.

I have a pretty decent back injury after 3 car accidents in 18 months and I did not have to work out to lose 100 lbs in 10 months. I still don't need to work out. It just stops my weight loss.

So quit the whining and just do it already. You are going to feel silly for all the negative energy you put into this.

  6. My husband did something similar. He drank shakes with me the first few months and dropped his carbs to a normal amount and cut his portions to a normal portion, Rather than eating 2 lbs of Pasta in a couple of days he cut it out altogether for instance. His reasoning is that he didn't want me to be this super hot woman and people wondering how he is with me, like I married down LOL

Whatever it takes. He lost about 50 lbs. He got frustrated and he hasn't lost much in the last few months. I noticed he is eating out a lot more. But so be it. Its not my body.

So keep up the support for him and be happy!

  7. “When they have this surgery they aren’t told that this may drastically alter forever and ever how you’re potentially going to eat,“ he said.

WHAT???!!! did she really not know this is a permanent change?????? I personally went to MX. I did my research on this from the day I decided to do it. I found an amazing doctor who does alot of these to people on this board. I am 100$ perfect with amazing results. I have personally known 7 people who have gone to MX with great results. Guess what, they all knew this is a life changing alteration.

I don't buy this for a second. Complications happen anywhere in the world. You must do your research to know the good and bad.

    This is so stupid.

  8. When you lose weight you are shrinking fat cells, you never lose them just shrink them.

They are full of all sorta of things not just "fat" they are full of hormones especially estrogen and progesterone. Both of these will mess with your period. My period has yet to be regular like it used to be. I had the mirena taken out after my husband had a vasectomy so I am all natural now.

    Good luck.

  9. I was taking 3 different kinds at first trying to find one that works for me and I finally found zantex OTC.

It works immediately and over 24 hours. I do not take it daily. Haven't really ever. The less I take it the less I need it. If I lay on my left side I need it at night I notice, so I do not lay that way.

I am a little over a year out and I need them about 1x a week.

  10. I am sorry you are frustrated,

I know when I started walking 3-5 miles 3xs a week at 10 months out I began to gain weight steadily, I stopped exercising 6 weeks after I started and the weight loss began again,

Sounds like you may need to up your carbs a bit. I know in my first 10 months I had to include 2 graham crackers and cream cheese at night. Carbs are not bad ( everything in excess is bad) You need carbs to burn. Its a fuel.

You need to find your happy numbers. If I don' eat a minimum of 800 calories and 50 carbs a day I do not lose. Do some experimenting.

  11. I got progessivly worse for me.

I started on a few Valium ( or a Valium family pill) a day to keep those in check.

I notice when I am feeling hot and sweaty and overly anxious and just not my calm self I have a large weight loss that week,

Fat cells are made up of not just fat, They are full of hormones notably progesterone and estrogen. when you are shrinking your fat cells ( they never go away) you are releasing much more than you realize.

Maybe you can get on a light anti depressant like celexa and a xanex or valuim to get you through those days.

    Good luck

  12. Congratulations,

Do not forget that you need to be up and walking every hour for 10 minutes. Do not be lazy about this.

It doesn't hurt. The only thing that "hurts" is the gas pressure and some people don't even have that. The more you walk the less gas pain you will have.

The first 48 hours are the toughest and each hour after you are in recovery it gets better and better.

Do not set yourself up for disappointment or failure. Your body will do what it needs to do on its own, Don't force anything.

Measure yourself and take photos weekly, When you come back and complain you are in a "stall" your actually not in a stall. You are probably losing inches or your body is shifting. A stall is nothing lost at all weight or inches in over 30 days.

You are going to do amazing.

I can't wait to see your journey.

    Sarah

  13. Good afternoon, after a little over a year I get to escort a great friend if mine for surgery in the morning. We are driving into San Diego.< /p>

I get to get a plastics consult while I am there. So excited!!

Anyway anyone going to be down there in the next day or so at INT hospital. My name is Sarah I'd you want to say hi. I am blone and super thin!

  14. Its super normal.

The day after surgery I really didn;t sleep that night and sorta fell apart, I was in pain from the stupid gas in my chest that I was not prepared for, I was alone in MX ( had an amazing time) my corrdinator came in and rubbed my back and burped me so to speak, said you need a shower and I did get int he shower and felt like a new person, thank god.

That was my only moment of WTF did I do to myself. from that day on its all been flowers and rainbows, I put on my big girl panties and became a much thinner happier person.

Keep your chin up it gets better from here.
