  1. I have a hard time accepting them from certain people. From People that were positive and joyful from the start I can take tose ones no problems. Its like we are celebrating every size difference and everything positive.

But from Random people or people I don;t know very well, I do say aww thanks and smile and then talk about them to get it off me.

Your right you need to smile, beam and say thank you its been a struggle but I feel great and that answers alot of questions.

  2. Nope I am the opposite.

I would buy 3-4 bags of different M &M's and eat them in bed while I wathed TV in the morning or at night now even a little apple juice makes me cramp so bad.

Only thing you can do is not put it in your home and you need ot envoke your will power. Is it worth it? ITs not.

  3. I agree.

Wait till you have to eat slow and your not even hungry. Its almost irritating to eat now. I only eat a few foods because I truly dislike eating. I love cottage cheese and blackberries right now. I would rather drink all day than eat anything. First off I have zero desire to eat and second its takes so long ot eat a meal and I get antsy. LOL

I loved the liquid stage of my post op. I go back to that often.

  4. HAHA I do the same thing.

I have this pair of Levis that I loath because they have no streach and are size 18. In old navy I am at least a 14, so I keep putting on the levis hoping they will soon fit and finally they did, so I wore them out to dinner and ran some errands and I slept in them cause I was not gonna take those dang jeans off.

  5. I have not had an issue with receiving aftercare. The wonderful thing about this surgery is the lack of need for after care. You may need a metabolic blood work panel just to see how your doing. But overall unless you have complications you shouldn't need follow up care.

I had my surgery in Mexico came home have been losing weight my B-12 and other Vitamin levels are all on target. I have yet to see a doctor for anything.

If your PCP isn't on board keep interviewing until you find one that is. You can find a new doctor its your right.

Make the appointment go have the surgery and enjoy your new body.
