  1. Yesterday I got in about 70 oz of Water and Tylenol or ibuprofen...I feel a little better today...well hopefully the headaches are less today. I talked to my NUT and she said try an small apple or a fat free low carb yogurt in the evening to help. I didn't do that but the Tylenol helped. Had my preop visit w surgeon yesterday and he said all is on track and good to go, 2 wk countdown begins!!! :-)
  2. My NUT allows non starchy veggies and pure protein (chicken fish non red meat) the calories in those are minimal compared to the amt of protein...maybe ask if you can have a small meal like that
  3. I am having these crazy headaches!! And moodiness! I 'think' it's carb withdrawal? I'm about 2-3 days into no carbs/sugar/starchy stuff diet. I am allowed protein and non starchy veggies and the. Clear liquids 24 hrs before...what helps with the headache and moods???
  4. I'm struggling with the carb withdrawal headache! Ughhh
  5. The diets are pretty hard, I have found many posts in the preop diet section on tips and things that others have used! Hopefully you can find something there that can help! I've also found that sugar free gum has helped me with head hunger and the desire to chew!

  8. I'm still preop but thank you for this post, so rumbling and swelling going down makes more sense. :-)
  9. Unfortunately loose stool is a side effect of the gallbladder surgery. I had mine removed in June and even still sometimes can have them. It does get a little better over time...the urge to 'go' has not changed and in fact i have to go almost immediately. :-( don't think that will change. Sorry for the gross ness of the info
  10. Hey everyone. I am new here. I am getting sleeved on November 28 in Jacksonville FL. I started the process at the end of may. I'm currently starting my pre-op diet tomorrow which seems to be a bit different than most I've read about (high Protein, non starchy veggies and no carbs etc then liquids 24 hrs before) Anyone else close that could be my 'sleeve buddy'
  11. November 28!!! I'm so nervous an excited I can hardly stand it. I start pre-op diet Monday. My bariatric team is wonderful and they would not submit until they ran all required tests and 3 month evaluation, to make sure there were no issues.
  12. Good luck with yours. I was submitted to Cigna on Monday afternoon and got my approval this afternoon.
