  1. I had AMAZING energy week one. Like..I almost ran up the steps at my house, I felt so good. Then.... I hit a wall. I've been sleeping a lot the last few days. Today back at work and thankful I have a sit down job.
  2. Fantastic! You look great!!! !
  3. I got one from my surgeon. Should come in handy!
  4. Weight loss makes us cold!
  5. I can't see it. And when I log out I can't see it. Hmmmmmmmmm.
  6. I liked the body for life program.
  7. Uneventful recovery here. No nausea, no pain. Constipation is my biggest problem right now. I think most people are looking for worst case scenario and what to do if it happens. If nothing happens.......nothing to talk about. The scary posts do stand out but I am encouraged by people SO excited to change their lives.
  8. It comes with time.... Work up to it. Worry about hydration and getting rest and healing. The more you can eat, the more protein you can get in. I like to get up early and start with a protein shake. If I wake up late...Bleh. Ill never get it all in.
  9. I'm not really sure. I have achieved rewards a few times in the past but never collected them. I just can't get myself to spend the money. At least I know I earned them. I figure there are some things I am going to have to buy as a I lose weight... clothes and shoes, I'll have to update my hair and makeup. I want to get LASIK and get rid of my glasses. Some little, some big as the time comes. I guess I don't really have numbers in mind, I'll just know when it's time.
  10. No, Im single and rarely cooked Pre surgery so there's no huge benefit to me to buying in bulk like that. I don't have any place to store 80 rolls if toilet paper! For the meat I guess it's good but I can't talk myself into paying money to shop somewhere.
  11. I had an enourmous brownie the night before I started the liquid diet.
  12. If this isn't a place of kindred spirits where I can let off a little steam about being sick of eating gross mushy foods, then someone please point me to that place. I thought that was here among people who get it, because it's certainly not among my friends who thought I could just puree a chicken thigh, or that I would just be eating salad right out of surgery. There is so much tough love here and that's awesome for people who respond to it. Not everyone does. A little corrective action is necessary. I see so much berating and brow beating though. *shrug * I guess if that's your way that's what the ignore list is for. When you're on week three of chicken broth and nasty Protein you earn the right to say you're sick of eating that.
  13. highest weight- 273 DoS 12/21 weight - 250 Week 1 weight: 239.2- 10.8 lbs! :: snoopydance ::
  14. Regardless of how she lost her weight she look great.
  15. I don't think I can drink anything gelled.... Ech. Maybe miralax or benefiber.
  16. If you have a restaurant around that does grilled or baked chicken (El Pollo Loco, KFC) that's always a good option. Your grocery store deli. You can buy Rotisserie roasted chicken by the piece. Hardee's will make any burger a lowcarb burger, wrapped in lettuce. You could get a turkey burger. Subway will make any sandwich a salad. Someone already mentioned chili from Wendy's, but you can also get burgers and chicken sandwiches wrapped in lettuce. Just tell them to leave off the bread.
  17. The stress of having surgery plus changes in your diet plus rapid weight loss will probably mean the gift of a jacked up cycle for a while. Mine came early. Precious. What I wanted to deal with week one post op was that wench Moms Nature.
  18. I used to buy Lean Cuisines, the ones with just meat and veggie. The broccoli beef I think was pretty good.,
