Hi everyone
Today, was amazing! I was off to work this morning when I forgot my lab coat I'm in the Dental field. My work lab coats are 2x at my starting weight fit tight and never covered my stomach. After VS my 2x lab coat is pretty big...anyway I got to work and had to use the office lab coats which are sizes small.... I screamed for joy when the lab coat fit perfectly!!! so happy

I'm getting extremely grouchy and impatient over this weight-loss crap. I just want to know everyone else's progress' date=' who got sleeved in January. I was advised by my surgeon to never eat less than 1000-1200 calories a day, I don't. I eat healthy foods and I work out 4-5 hours a day! Yes, that's correct I meant 4-5 hours. I walk 6 miles, do the elliptical for an hour (4.5 miles), I swim a mile, I do strength training (weights) for an hour, and sometimes I do more after that like skating or dancing, Ect. Now, can someone please explain to me why I've only lost 57 pounds in 4 and a half months when I literally changed my whole life style from no exercise to massive exercise and crap for food to "healthy" stuff????? I've been stuck at 212 for weeks!!! WTH? My goal for May was NOT unreasonable! I only wanted to drop 15-20 pounds and um... As it stands I've lost a whole THREE!!!! What is wrong with me?[/quote']Vanessa to be honest
57pds in 4 months is great!! I have only lost 35pds and was Sleeved in January remember before the surgery losing 1pds was impossible so keep it real... I am grateful for what I have achieved after being sleeved no more cholesterol or diabetes meds and 35pds gone. I'm learning to forget about the scale and just focus on living my life in a healthier and positive way... I assure you continue what your doing and before you know it the scale will move. Good luck on your journey and God bless.

I'm a Jan sleever and a very slow looser start weight 223 before surgery 220 and now I'm 209... I'm happy with my 24pds!! I couldn't loose this before being sleeved plus I'm not in a rush it will eventually happen...

I just got sleeved on 2/11 and I was told I have to wait to take my Vitamins for two weeks. I take liquid vitamins because I was told we would absorb those better then the hard kind. Was told the pills we will end up passing in our stools. Amazon has some great deals on liquid vitamins. I paid 22 dollars for a 32 oz bottle.Amazon is great! Also try Puritan Pride I got liquid B-12, Magnesium with D3 and Iron.

Hi,
I would say ask your surgeon. I was sleeved 1/14 and I was told to start vitamis right away. I was told to stay away from jell capsules for 2months. Things will get better!

lol the other day I measured out 3 slices of turkey 1 tbls mayo 1 slice of bread. I started to eat it but could not finish it so I left it on the table to take a break and finish it in a little. I made my husband 2 chicken subs for dinner he eats them then eats that piece that I had measured and wanted to finish! I was soo pisssed!!! It is very frustrating with my kids also I feed them first then sit to eat my food and they are like oooh what are you eating mommy can I have some? YOU DONT EVEN LIKE BOILED EGGS! but if im eating it they want it. I wish I had my own fridge with a lock!I am tell you they want it ALL!!! Even your poor boring boiled egg. Lol

I plan on doing the same thing as soon as I am allowed more foods. It's the perfect opportunity to get the whole family eating healthier. Also in regards to the Protein shakes my Doc and Nutritionist discourage liquid calories even from Protein Shakes after two weeks post op.
My family lives Pasta, rice and all the food that at this time aren't to good for me. My husband and I slowing switched from white grains to all brown and mult-grain. As my mind and stomach get the hang of things sometime is best to avoid sit down dinners ...My main focus is on eating small portions, small bites and chewing, chewing and chewing some more...Once I am in full control we will have our sit down dinner again...

Maybe we should just fill the house with only foods we can eat- buy enough for everybody. That way everybody is on the new eating plan.Melissa that sound great! But knowing my husband he will complain about what I'm feeding him.

Its happened to me as well. Get a tongue scraper clean and brush your tongue twice a day. This will help.
