I'm a year post of - and drink coffee every day - perhaps max three small cups spread throughout, but I do make sure that I drink a bottle of water in between each cup, at least.
  3. i'm a year out and I've not had pizza yet, and don't intend to... I've had jalepenos on occasion, but only when I feel the need to go to the toilet and I'm getting desperate - it does usually work! I went through a major operation to get to the other side and be a healthier person, so don't really want to jepordise that by getting in to bad habits again.
  4. I'm over a year out now, and I still get the rumbling noises, in the morning and also if theres been a (too) long gap between me eating anything, or even drinking.. I'm thinking its just something that we have to get used to now, but I guess everyone is different..
  5. I know that I wouldn't manage to get all my water in without the water enhancements... I just couldn't drink plain water - so for me it is a necessary amount of calories.
  6. Good luck Linda - I hope that the posts help you reach your goal
  7. I take a lot of vitamins and minerals - some are softgels - I've never heard of any issues of us taking them.
  8. I'm 10 months out and still on it - no hurry to be off it either.
  9. I get days like that - usually around the time of the month... just try to fill up on the lower calorie/low carb options - depending on your way of eating
  10. I hope that you feel better soon. Acid reflux is horrid
  11. I'm 9 month out and am still finding it difficult to handle certain foods - I don't like fish, beef, pork and chicken all hurt me so I'm still on the shakes at times - luckily I've found one that I like and have it with almond milk.
  12. Sorry to hear about your day - maybe you had the spill for a reason... I'd stick to water or crystal light/generic if possible, for a wee while yet. Hope your days get better
  13. Go see your NUT - they are there to help you. Don't feel bad - just draw a line under what has been and concentrate on what will be - and great going on losing the 108 pounds!!!!! that is a fantastic start. Well done!!!
  14. What I really appreciated was at bath/shower time, when I had my girls on hand to help me out etc, in to the second week I was fine with bathing alone. Just take things slowly, and rest as you need to.
  15. Hugs to you Tigerbell. my loss is gradual, so I tend not to weigh myself too much - rather wait until I 'feel' like I've lost something then step on the scales... maybe just once every two weeks even. Sometimes its a loss of 3-4 lbs, sometimes not... but as long as I don't creep back up, then that's fine with me. I'm less than I was, and that's what counts.
  16. Oh My you certainly have been through it. I hope you feel better soon!! x
  17. I also had issues with the anaesthesia during my sleeve surgery - so can appreciate your fears. As Shelle said though - you have your weight loss on your side! Thinking of you
  18. Almonds have calcium and b vitamins I believe... they are my choice
  19. I'm 8 months out and couldn't contemplate having one bite... I just 'know' it wouldn't be good...
  20. Scrambled eggs are the same with me... that and chicken I still have to master - and I was sleeved in October last year!
  21. Apples don't agree with me either... Not many fruits do really, apart from tinned pears.
  22. I like the hawiian punch varieties, they seem 'soft' if you know what I mean..
