  1. I was sleeved a few days ago and have been getting these spasms. It was so good to read this post cause I thought it was bad. Thanks for making me feel normal.
  2. I was sleeved on the 25 th as well. I was so nauseous that I have not been able to keep much down. I did throw up with the upper GI series as well. Today I feel like my stomach is in spasms at times. Did any other person here have this feeling?
  3. Did anyone else get a temp post surgery? I also have superficial phlebitis from my IV. I'm a little worried now about the temp.
  4. My surgery is tomorrow! I am so excited and although yesterday I was so scared, today I feel at peace and happy. It is exciting hearing everyone who went through this talking about their changes. Congrats to you and for those that are to come... Have a wonderful and safe journey!
  5. Apparently we all get that way, my surgery is tomorrow and yesterday I almost backed out but today I feel much better about my decision. Your doing this for you and things are going to be so much better.
  6. Could you please advise me on how to get that much protein in, I'm really wanted to reach those bight numbers. What is your daily meal consisting of?
  7. If your gallbladder is blocked and not releasing enough bile to breakdown fats it can cause constipation. Hope you feel better soon.
  8. Most that I have seen are erosion to the band, leaks, and infections. These too were from other hospitals with a most from Mexico. All have had positive outcomes but much long term follow up.
  9. Thanks for the support! I'm a critical care nurse and have backed out if this surgery twice now because of patients that I get that have had poor outcomes. I'm trying to keep my mind clear and positive. I will be sleeved as well as having my gallbladder removed. My oldest daughter moved away to Texas yesterday and I'm feeling like my support is down to one (my youngest). Ugh!

  12. I actually gained weight on my 6 month diet plan and insurance didn't look at my numbers, I was approved. Good luck to you!
  13. Tylenol is not a blood thinner and is safe before surgery. You should stay away from NSAIDs. I had a headache for the first week and finally took Tylenol to help. It went away and has not been back since. I hope it gets better for you.

  15. It goes so fast, my day is October 25th. My surgeon dish require any loss.
