  1. I get the same thing! And when I have to poop' date=' I have to poop NOW! All diarrhea. Sorry to be gross. Lots of pain and gurgling. And I'm nauseous all the time. The dr thought I might have gastroparesis, so they put me on Reglan. I had a reaction to it so now I'm back to phenergan. Anyhow, I missed two days of my Nexium and the issues went away. I have my 6 month post op on Friday , so if I find out anything interesting I'll let you know. (and we are an air force family, so I feel your pain about going to the dr. IF you can get an appt!)[/quote']

I'm not nauseous now, I do have diahrea mostly but I figured that's because of my diet. How long have you been dealing with this? If you misses a couple days of nexium and it went away, could it be a reaction to nexium for you? Can you tell me more about what you're dealing with so I can compare? Thank you so much for answering!!!! Where are you located? We are at Ft. Lewis.

  2. I do not drink thru a straw, I take my prilosec without fail and I was doing so so so good up until now! I hope this is just really bad gas? I hope someone else has had something similar and I'm just worrying for no reason. I am using the restroom fine, drinking fine, not dealing with hunger issues, have even felt more energy. I just don't understand what this is and how I can fix it. Maybe I just needed to vent, maybe I'm pmsing really bad as I'm due to start this week and this is my first period since surgery? I'm on the pill, and I'm very regulated. I'm just really uncomfortable and trying not to work myself up. I had the lapband since 2007 until my revision and this past year was horrible for me with weight gain and vomiting and even constant nausea the three months prior to my revision. I have been so happy to be rid of the nausea, now this. What can I do to try to alleviate gas, so I can see if that's what this is? It just doesn't feel like gas would, at least before. I am just so dang bloated up.

  3. I am 19 days out from my revision to VSG from Lapband. I ha e had 2 episodes of dumping that I now know was dumping both times from eating too much potato Soup too fast. One of them was last night. I have learned my lesson and will never do that again! My problem is today I woke up feeling kind of crappy. I had about 3 sips of Water and later about 2 bits of some cream of wheat and I started feeling miserable. Lots of pressure in my gut and lower abdomen, in my back. I decided to check the forums to see if anyone else has had this problem. It got so bad I had to take a Vicodin. Then I got to thinking maybe its because I didn't have anything in my stomach and it was cramping up. So I read back thru my post op bible for food ideas. I put together a small plate with 2tbs spinach from a can, 2tbsp beets from a can and about 2tbsp moist tuna with 1/2tbsp ffmayo. I ate this very slow so I would not overeat. I felt much better for about an hour. Then as I was sitting in my recliner on my laptop, the pressure, extreme bloated feeling returned and my back started hurting so bad I was bawling. I do have back issues but not like this and not for awhile. I had really bad pains like in my back ribcage area. I went to lay down and all I could do was cry. Can't get comfortable. Lots of pressure in my abdomen and my back. I took 2 more Vicodin, its been about 5 hours since my last one. I have been off my pain killers except at night to sleep. Wtf???? Has anyone else had anything like this? What could it be? I don't want to go to Dr unless completely necessary because we are military and it is a total fiasco. pleased help. I can't stop crying I'm so afraid it could be a leak. I don't have a fever or shoulder pain, so I'm praying its something that is simple and will pass. It doesn't feel like gas. Ugh!

  4. I had my revision from band to sleeve on the 9th of October. I'm a week out today and doing fairly well. I'm having a hard time getting in my Protein, mostly because the thought of food still turns my sore tummy, so I'm doing what I can. I chew on ice chips and sip Water, lemonaid, herbal tea all day. I had a little broth today for brunch and some really soupy cottage cheese for dinner. I'm starting to feel human again. I just have to remember to stay on task with my pain meds, I forgot to take them today and I really paid for it. Won't be doing that again! :) How are they rest of you doing????

    Anyone in WA?

  5. My name is Twyla and I live in Steilacoom, WA. I am 37, have 3 kids, 17, 12 and 3. We just moved here with the military in June of this year. I just had my revision from lapband to VSG on October 9th. I'm glad I found this site, I need some people to talk to that are going thru the same thing! Curious if I'm going thru some sort of stage right now. I'm 5 days out and having a hard time making myself get down anything but ice chips or hot herbal tea. I just have no appetite. My stomach is telling me I'm hungry, but just the thought of broth makes me sick. I did vomit a couple times the night before last and I'm afraid I will again. It wasn't because I took in too much liquid either, it was out of nowhere. Hurt like hell! Anyway, nice to "meet" all of you! I hope we can all help each other thru our journey to healthier people! :)

  6. I know, right?! I had my surgery on the 9th and I'm struggling with trying to eat any kind of Liquid Protein. I just don't want anything but ice chips or hot tea. The pain is a little better but my left side and ribs are pretty sore. I had a lapband before and this was where my port was, and also where my tummy is, so I'm sure that's why mine really hurts me. I have an ice pack on it constantly. I also have problems taking my meds... haven't even begun to think about the Vitamins yet. HOw are you doing with the rest of it?
