  1. keep your fat grams as low as possible. Thats my highest possible recommendation.
  2. You will most likely be glad you did it. Surgery will be rough but after heal and lose a ton of weight you will be glad you did it. I have lost over 110 pounds since my surgery Oct 22 2012. I am glad I did it.
  3. What brand name of peppermint tea do you use?
  4. I had surgery on Oct 22 2012. Since then I have been burping a lot . Like all day sometimes. It hurts sometimes and its annoying. Does anybody else have this problem??
  5. Lately I have been having some aching in my chest and it has something to do with me burping. Whenever I burp it aches. I have been burping a lot lately too so it aches a lot. What's going on?
  6. Dr Sherman Yu of TLC is amazing!! Look him up on youtube. He did my sleeve and I have no complications like I hear from so many people on here with other surgeons. He knows what he is doing and is goes all around the world teaching other surgeons on the latest technology for vsg. I am so glad I went with him.
  7. Dr. Sherman Yu. He is the best. Do a search on youtube for him. He is at TLC in Houston. I wouldn't go with anyone else. He did mine and I have had no complications like others get.
  8. Get a treadmill and sweat for 30 minutes a day. You will thank me later.
  9. I was told not to eat pickles so I thought maybe vinegar would be bad.
  10. I have been getting really bad haert burn lately. Before I was sleeved I would drink Apple Cider vinegar mixed with water and it would always get rid of my heartburn. I want to take it now but I don't know if its safe for sleevers. Help!!!
  11. Don't blame the bullies. That would make too much sense.
  12. I won't name any names but there is a man and a woman that spend hours and hours everyday in the chatroom that are incredibly rude and negative. They chase away people that have different opinions than themselves. They also make very inappropriate sexual comments too. They are constantly in the chatroom and in my opinion ruin it for everyone else. The chatroom is supposed to be for discussing vsg related topics but they never talk about anything related to vsg. They have ruined this site for me. I have never been more bullied in my entire life as I have here. It's sad.
  13. Is it possible to lose all the weight with VSG? Why don't some people lose all the weight?
  14. What do you eat tally?
  15. All food tastes bad since surgery. Food tastes cheap or bland to me now. Does anybody else feel this way?
  16. I got sleeved on Oct 22 2012 and I have lost 52 pounds so far.
  17. How much weight did you lose the first and second months after surgery?
  18. I know we are supposed to separate our solid foods from our liquids but what about soup? Isn't soup solid food mixed with liquids?
  19. Thats not much calories. So thats good. Stay that way. Im no expert but I would drink much more water, walk 10,000 steps a day and avoid fatty foods. If you do that the weight will have to come off.
  20. Do you now how many calories you get on average? Maybe its too much or not enough.
  21. Im just curious. What are you eating in an average day? When did you get the sleeve and how much have you lost so far.
  22. I don't think its the lack of carbs thats making us have more energy. I think its because we are eating so much less fat and calories. I mean think about it. Carbs are what athletes use for energy. Fatty foods make people sleepy. Take away the fat = more energy.
  23. I'm so full of energy and almost never hungry. I was sleeved on Oct 22 2012. I was wondering how long does this last? Am I going to be like this forever or what ? Please say yes!!!
