    4 Weeks Post-Op - MAJOR WARNING

    My surgeon told me no bending, twisting or lifting/pushing/pulling more than 7 lbs. for 3 weeks; I will be sure and follow his directions now. Thanks!

    UHOH....

    I am getting sleeved on wednesday and my mom-in-law is making me her famous potato soup and is going to blend it for me for xmas....I told her I'll only need 2 tsp. lol Hope it fairs well for me. Wish me luck!

    70 lbs. in 2 months! Wow...i really really hope I can do that, although men do lose much faster than woman due to all their muscles. Congrats!!

  12. Hi Lauren, I am also getting sleeved Wednesday morning. Isn't it exciting?! Myfitness pal is, although I've had trouble getting into on my PC in order to sink, etc. I've also used myplate on livingstrong.com Good luck and I hope you have a quick and smooth recovery.

  14. I've heard people get kidney stones following, but as long as you drink plenty of liquids to help flush the system it's not too big of a problem, unless you're already prone to them.

    Try adding more milk/soy to it to thin it a bit, that might help if it's a thickness issue. Experiment with flavors; search shake recipes on the forum and you will find a ton of them. Hope that helps. Good luck!

    starving! 4 days post op!

    I think alot of that is head hunger (cause you're used to eating at certain times and certain amounts, etc.), but I've also heard that acid buildup in the stomach can feel like hunger as well. Your Dr. should've prescribed you something.

  23. If you have any biofreeze (or icyhot), or lavender oil you can rub it on your temples and along the base of your hairline. It works wonders.
