The 10 days is for NSAIDS.
-
I was told 10 days, but to be safe, consult with your surgeon.

How about you just tell them you had weight loss surgery? You don't have to provide specifics, just tell them how good you feel. Focus on how wonderful you are feeling, and remember to smile. Just my opinion.
Before I had the surgery I told very few people only because I didn't want to field questions. When I return to work I plan to tell all who ask with the emphasis on being healthy. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks everyone, I'll be adding you as friends soon!

Consult with your doctor, you may have an underlying problem for your headache. You should also become familiar with the class of NSAID medications so you won't mistakenly take one. Good luck.

Congratulations. Have you thought about a tailor? I have too wide range of sizes and my clothing tends to be conservative. I plan to use a tailor to adjust as I go along, far less expensive than purchasing new clothing.

Thanks everyone. Ok, a few questions. Do you friend people like Facebook? Does it give you weekly updates? Thanks again.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a good online food diary program or app. Please share your experience with the app/program you use. If you could elaborate on the pros and cons would be very helpful. Also, if the program is free. I'm very mobile so my iPhones/iPad travel with me.
Thanks much!

Hi everyone. I had the gastric sleeve on Monday, October 8th. Absolutely no pain no nasueau and no gas. Everything went well. Today is the second day of the full liquid diet and all is well. Not a fan of the cream of wheat, but I'll manage. I'm not up to the full 64/64 but working my way toward it. Drinking Mu Protein Shake as we speak.
New Here.....should I Do This?

No matter how many message boards, websites, friends and family you consult, only YOU can make the decision to have this surgery. Consider your health, if your health worsens as a result of your weigh what can you expect? Will you develop Heart disease and stroke, High blood pressure, Diabetes, Gallbladder disease and gallstones, Osteoarthritis, Gout or sleep apnea (when a person stops breathing for a short episodes during sleep) and asthma. The choice is yours.
Good luck in whatever you choose.
