    Not losing weight

I think you answered your own question. "My doc said its normal but it seems strange to me." Stop stressing, if your doc says its normal, continue to follow his instructions. If after 1-2 months and no weigh loss, consult with him and your nutritionist.

    Post-Op pain..

Everyone doesn't experience the same amount of pain. I had no pain and no gas. The next day I was sore, that's it.

    Frustrated!

Stop weighing yourself everyday. Daily scale watching is enough to make you crazy. Weigh yourself regularly, maybe every 10-14 days. Weight loss will happen.

    lovenox

I don't think it is a problem with being off one day, just pick a time and stick with it. If your husband isn't available you will have to do it yourself, it's not that hard.
  5. 1. no but if you continue this pattern, you will. 2. you should talk with your nutrionist and physician. 3. You should be feeling a sensation of being full. 4. Don't know 5. Don't know You probaly need to stay at home and try to manage and become accustomed your diet. Right now it appears that you have little self control and until you can control yourself and stick to the diet, being in places that could trigger these bad habits are not good for you. Go back to your liquids and follow your doctor and Nutritonists instructions.
  6. I have not had any beef since the surgery and was craving a burger, to my surprise when I was in the grocery store I found the Smart Ones mini cheeseburgers. It wasn't bad at all, I put some Mrs. Dash on it, nuked it for 45 seconds. It's not something that I would have regularly, but something to have when the craving hits. Here is a photo with the nutritional info: Here's the link for a $3.00 coupon: http://www.eatyourbest.com/savings-and-promotions.aspx
  7. None of us are physicians or qualified to provide you with medical advice, so the most appropriate person(s) to contact would be your personal physician(s). If your surgeon isn't available, consult with his/her backup, if not inquire with your primary care physician. Too many times we become comfortable with people on a forum who have no medical training and could offer advise detrimental to your health. Bottom line, when in doubt call or visit your physician or surgeon. Good Luck!

    Concerns

I don't have any regrets, so everyone doesn't go through the regret stage. There are some that do have regrets.

Is it possible to find true love?

There are men out there interested in plus size women, believe me this I know. What online sites did you go on? There are dating sites dedicated to plus size women and their admirers. Did you post multiple photos? What about your profile message? Feel free to email me, I could provide some pointers.

Is it possible to find true love?

True love may be possible, but realistically it may not. The first thing you have to do is be happen with yourself. Just because you are fat, doesn't mean you are not "desirable" you have to be confident and go out there and stun the world. What have you been doing to find your mate? Do you go out? Online dating?
  12. Sex has always been off the chart for me, it was good before and is good now. I've never had any problems in this area.
  13. Exactly. Then here comes another lie.
  14. You should just tell the truth. If you are having the surgery for health reasons, which I’m sure most of us are, why not tell your boss. This surgery is to make you healthier. Why lie, when the truth will do. Besides, you might be pleasantly surprised by the support you receive. We live in an information age and as much as we think people are gullible and stupid, they aren't, when they notice the weight loss and you eating smaller portions this is just going to fuel gossip and unnecessary attention. Star Jones is a prime example. Educate those who don't know.

Tips To Curb The Homicidal Rage?

No rage here, life is good for me. Find a hobby, go to the movies or go shopping. Better yet, go volunteer somewhere....when you see others who are less fortunate it will put your rage into perspective.

Free Tummy Tuck At Burn Unit

"If you have had Bariatric Surgery and you wish to donate your excess skin, you will have to ask if your plastic surgeon participates in a skin donation program. Most surgeons do not keep the removed skin, as skin from cadavers is more appropriate in the treatment of burn victims." http://www.barnabashealth.org/contact/skin.html

    The truth is....

"Truth is when a person says I lost 40 pounds and nobody says anything. It's because it prob not that noticeable. I thought it -30 was a big deal, but in all honesty looking at he pictures it wasn't all that noticeable." I agree!

HOW TO FIX "mental" BEFORE SURGERY

You probably could benefit seeing a therapist to help you work through all of your issues. Good luck.
  21. None, but with anything you have to do your homework. Do the research, ask questions. As you think of questions jot them down, be prepared when you meet with your physician or nutritionist. Oh an most importantly, follow your physician's instructions, some choose to ignore important information.....you don't want to do that.

    Being cold

A few others have posted about being cold. I have found that I'm cold also, and I asked my physician about it. He said that they (the bariactric medical community) does not have an answer as to why some patients are cold, but told me to purchase a fleece because I will probably get good use out of it.

    Why Lie?!?!

My motto is why lie when the truth will do! I don't mind telling people I had WLS because when co-workers see you eating a small portion do you think they aren't going to know something? Chyle please! All the effort people spend trying to develop a "story" they could just tell the person "I had weight loss surgery!" I tell people I had weight loss surgery because I was becoming more and more unhealthy and I don't EVER want to be dependent on anyone else. I love life and if I can do something to become a healthier person, I'm doing it. The question I want to ask is what are you afraid is going to happen when you tell the truth? Be BOLD, embrace your new healthier life!

    wine at 6 weeks anyone?

    What does your doctor advise?
  25. Yes, call your doctor. None of us are qualified to give you advice. Not being rude, but any time you have an issue like this or pain, the first thing you should be doing is calling your physician.
