I have prayed and am still praying even as i move forward toward the surgery...I am not sure what type of answer I think I will hear but I ask God to guide me. At time I feel like i am a failure for "needing" this surgery but then I know that God loves me no matter what. I wont know for a couple of weeks if insurance approves me but I think they will. I began to realize I have more peace about getting the surgery than not and find that I hope and pray i will be approved but I know that God is with me no matter what.
I have not yet had the surgery but my dietician told me that i will have to sip and to try to get one of those bottles that only lets you get a little at a time. sipping water and eating slowly are going to be the hardest things for me but I guess in time it will become a new habit.
So, if you lose just 5-10 lbs a month by eating so little and exercising...is the surgery worth it? If you did all that without surgery, would you get the same results? I am thinking of getting the surgery in November... so I am asking, would you do it again knowing what you know now? Did you lose hair? Are you always in pain or does it go away? Do you ever live a normal life again?
