  1. 23 was my day! Lost lots during the first two weeks post op...and now it had slowed down, but like other people I went from a 22 to a 16, so I will take that
  2. I was sleeved 10\23 and had my 2 week post op appt yesterday. My Nut said to eat every two hours, even if it was just a glass of skim milk. I know everyone's Nut has a different opinion of how to eat She said I will probably need a protien shake a day to hit my 60 g of protien...ick, but I will be good and do it...
  3. Lol! Thanks, at this point I am over it and like a robot...drink, sip...just get past this stage to the next
  4. We were sleeved the same day! Way to go on the 17 pounds! My doc requires 2 weeks of liquids after post-op
  5. I can't have any until Nov 7...so you had a far better Halloween treat than I did!
  6. This morning I weighed 238, I would like to be 200 by Jan 1.
  7. Can you make somethings ahead of time that can be frozen and tossed in the oven? I have a lot of friends who make Crock Pot Bags, they put all the ingredients in the bag and freeze it, then when they are ready for it the put it in the crock pot. http://lovingmynest.com/learning-activities/freezer-crock-pot-cooking-day/
  8. When the thought crosses you mind to open you daughter's butterfinger from Trick or Treating to smell it and maybe, just maybe lick it... I didn't...but I just want something besides liquids/protiens! I dream of cottage cheese...Mmmmm
  9. Grand Rapids MI Grand Health Partners Dr. Foote 10/23/12
  10. I think most MI based insurance programs have a 6 month process. I had to meet with a doc once a month, the nut, exercise, and behaviorist one time. The insurance companies changed their policies on June 1st this year...call and check with them (ask you docs office for the surgery codes before you call) Sleeved 10\23\12 by Dr. James Foote, Grand Health Partners
  11. Me too! Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
