  10. I was told to wait 10 weeks post-op until I was able to eat salad. But I can only eat iceberg lettuce and none other. It has to be crunchy! and on veggies, I can handle almost everything now, except broccoli and tomato's. And I tend to eat my salads almost plain (ceasar way) only because I can't eat meat yet. Thanks for your input.
  11. Hi and thankyou for your reply!! and I guess I meant 8 oz in volume. lettece weighs nothing really but I was simply worried.
  12. Hi Sleevers, I was sleeved on 9/7/12 a little over 3 months out. And I've been addicted to eating salads with low calorie dressings and crotuons. But Lately I've been noticing that I can eat about 8-10oz's of salad! now I don't know if that's normal or if I stretched it out, please help!! With everything else, I fill up with 3-4 bites. But with salads not. Help me Lovies!! Best wishes to everybody <3
  13. okay, for me my ex has been dying to get me on a date and its all because of my weight loss! he knows I'm confident and I'm looking great! but what we both need to remember is that, there was once a reason for why we broke up and if they truly love us, then they need to accept us either fat or skinny! normal exercise or sleeved! best of luck!! <3
  14. if you feel that bad, yes! go to the urgent care! but I get thick saliva ALL THE TIME!! its because you either ate too fast or you're dehydrated! make sure u drink enough water to produce "runny" normal saliva! I know how u feel. hang in there and feel better!

  22. when I was released to go home, they told me I was able to shower normally and after 5 days the incision clear tape was going to begin to fall off, but I just took it all off. I doesn't hurt. your left incision SHOULD hurt because that's where they took out your stomach. and I'm soo sorry to hear about that Sandy storm :/ most importantly, drink your fluids then your protein. (2 weeks clear liquids then 2 weeks full liquids) stay on your guide. best wishes!!
