  1. don't stress out! usually within the first 7-8 days post-op your stomach won't be as numb and you will begin to be able to drink "normally". gulping and not to mention burping a lot! :-) hope you're enjoying your experience.
  2. yey!! were on the same boat, I'm 8 weeks post-op and down 39 pounds! 192.
  3. ask your questions here we can help you figure out ways of answering your questions
  4. diarreah flushes u out! its a good thing, I wish I had diarreah right now! hehehe I could lose 1/2 a pounds! :-P
  5. I use all the veggies on the pans!! :-)
  6. it happens. but you're only a few days out, after the first month your body adjusts and so will you when you start to see the scale go down!! :-)
  7. well you wouldn't be human if you didn't think those thoughts from time to time! just hold on because everyone here is on the same boat with you also, stalls are good for you. that means that your body is saying, "hey the heck, why aren't you feeding me 1800+ calories like you used to!" so your body holds the food and water for a little longer to see if you are going to feed it soon. but stalls last usually 2-3 weeks after that you see a great deal of pounds lost appr. 7+ best wishes!!
  8. yes first week sucks horribly! but you'll be able to drink "normally" around day 6 or 7. no more sips best wishes.
  9. if you're losing 2-3 pounds a week, then I don't believe that's a stall because at the end of the month you should be close to ten pounds lighter. But yes, "complete" stalls will happen. but stalls are good because after 2-3 weeks of it, your body loses a great deal of weight!! apprx. 7+ pounds the next week.
  10. Id like to be a perfect size 9/10. about 3 years ago I was at 130 and wearing size 7/9 bottoms. But I'm currently weighing 200 and my goal weight would be 135-140 pounds.
  11. well I guess that's good. I'm 7 weeks post-op and I can't eat "doughy" food (bread, pasta, rice, pizza, red meat) if I try to, it just won't go down and I feel like throwing up. so I totally get what u mean. I just crave popsicles and celery with low cal/sod peanut butter...OH AND string cheese!!!!!! :-D
  12. HEY!! okay just an update: sleeved on sep.7th: 232 current weight: 200 goal by halloweenie: 192 8 pounds to go, sounds almost too impossible, but eh last time I commented on here I was 212, so I lost 12. total 31 pounds!!
  13. hey congrats on your surgery!! okay, if you just had surgery your stomach is still very numb so you should just drink your 64-70oz a day. if you go beyond that, you will retain Water and it'll be harder to get it off. I mean its not bad if you drink water, but definitely only sip sip and make sure you pay attention to your new stomach, once u sense discomfort, just stop and continue again in 15 mins. For me, on 2nd week post-op I was able to drink water normally. best wishes!!
  14. yea, you definitely need to re-read and strictly follow your guidelines, believe me once u get surgery and you TRY to gulp your water down, it will hurt! Just a quick and fun tip I did: after surgery I got a small spoon, and drank water from the spoon. That's how much you'll be able to tolerate after surgery. up until you're about 6-7 weeks post op! best wishes!!
  15. I slack of in vitamins, but I just re-started on them.
  16. Happy Birthday!! and congrats on your weight loss!! I can't give u a gift, but I can give you advice, just keep posting haha :-D have fun!!!
  17. congrats!!I know it'll hurt a lot after the surgery for a good week or so,but u will most definetely not regret this decision! :-D just follow ur post-op diet and you'll be fine doll!
  18. woohoo!! we are on the same boat then! I was sleeved on sep.7th and I'm down 32 pounds! :-)
