  1. Hi! I was sleeved on October 3rd as well & would love some friends at the same point I am.
  2. I've tried quite a few and hated them all. But someone had posted how good Premier Protein from Costco or Sams Club is. I tried it and love it! While you can still tell it's a protein shake its the best I've tried and even satisfies my chocolate cravings.
  3. I was sleeved on the 3rd and am allowed a 1/4 cup three times a day (after its been through the blender). I'm struggling to finish that if its anything but Greek yogurt. Was really excited to try eggs today only to discover I couldn't eat more than two bites. Kind of depressing when food was such a big part of my life before. I know it'll be worth it but its not easy!
  4. It's such a relief to hear that I'm not alone. I've seriously worried I might be losing my mind. This too shall pass I guess. Maybe it's all the estrogen stored in fat being released as the weight comes off? PMS on steroids!
  5. I'm three weeks post op and am noticing that I seem to be snapping at my family more than usual. It's not a constant thing but I am definitely lacking my usual patience. . I feel like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Is this normal? Will it go away?
  6. I woke up to glue and have had zero complications. Healing up nicely.
  7. My surgeon is the same one week clear liquids, one week full liquids and staring week three (Wednesday) I get to puréed. Yee ha!
  8. I am in the same boat. Down 17 lbs since surgery 10/3. But nothing in 3 days. I've vowed to put my scale away and only weigh on Fridays as well. Think we can do it? It's frustrating. I'm so worried that its not going to work for me and I won't make it to my goal weight.
  9. Way to go! I was sleeved on 10/3 and I'm loving it too.
  10. Thanks for that. It helps so much to hear success stories. Congrats on your loss I can't wait to be where you are!
  11. I'm 2 weeks post op tomorrow and woke this morning feeling like a new person! It's been a rougher than I had anticipated but it does get better. I hope it lasts I'm dreaming of the projects I might get done before heading back to work on Monday.
  12. Thanks. That's great news! I'm so ready for something different.
  13. Do you think fat free refried beans are ok in the purée stage of recovery?
  14. I spent 30 minutes talking to the doc about my past history with weight. Not to invasive then put into a room by myself to take a written scan tron fill in the bubbles multiple choice test. Super easy. He called me the next day and told me he was recommending me for approval but my test revealed I might struggle with the strict lifestyle change later due to boredom.
