  1. Tell him 6 weeks is outrageous!
  2. The only thing that sucks for me is not being able to drink with meals when food is spicy.

Haha you gotta spoon too? This pot needs stirring! I guess when you vent about other's journeys, expect backlash.

Honestly, with the exception of a few posts, I just see everyone giving their opinion on the subject. Just because we are not applauding you or agreeing doesn't mean we are unwelcoming or clicky.
  5. I'm on the paragaurd IUD. It has no hormones so no moodiness or weight gain. I've been on the depo shot and it made me horribly moody and impossible to lose weight no matter what I did.

Here we go again! Haha! Ms. Skinniness always knows what's up! I'm guilty of this too. Not posting about it but thinking gaw, this may not work for me! I only lose weight a couple days out of the month and have gone a whole month without a loss. Sometimes I just want to scream! I guess I thought I'd be down 100 pounds in 3 months, haha. But when I look at the whole picture, I've done amazing! 58 pounds in 4 1/2 months! We've all took extreme measures to lose weight. I think it's pretty normal if not expected to have some anxiety about whether or not we made the right choice. My point is, I understand where those people are coming from and know they are just wanting someone to tell them this is going to work.
  7. Drinking while eating may be the problem. Do you always do that? If I drink something sooner than 30 minutes after eating, its painful! I hope you find answers fast!
  8. The recovery was harder than I expected, only because I have friends who had the surgery who told me how easy it was. After 3 weeks I felt completely normal and eating has been no issue for me.

Dang girl! Hope you get to feeling better soon!!! I'm glad you're in good spirits though!

    What's wrong?
  11. First of all, you're gorgeous and congrats on the weight loss! I too went from a 24 to a loose 18/tight 16. I bought jeans at old navy when they had a sale and have been wearing more dresses. Dresses seem to last longer as you lose weight, they still look ok. I haven't hit up goodwill yet but will. Go shopping and get a few things that make you feel amazing! I love shopping now because clothes fit so much better now!
  12. *Whistles* lookin good! Not only does it fit, it looks a little big! Good luck with the interview!
  13. 6 pounds everytime so far. It doesn't usually go away until a week after my period is done.
  14. All of my friends are supportive. But with acquantances and clients, it's the bigger ones that are more supportive. The thinner ones look at me like I'm crazy lol. I've stopped telling everyone for that reason.
  15. 23g of protein not fat!!! Ooops haha!
  16. You're only done if you want to be. These last 20 pounds will probably be really hard to lose but you can do it! Congrats on your success so far! That's awesome!
  17. I created these tonight and they were so good! 3 poblano peppers 1 onion diced 3 garlic cloves diced 1 can of diced green chilies 1/2 cup chopped cilantro 1 can of mexicorn drained 1 pound of skinless boneless chicken thighs 1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt 1 cup of Monterrey Jack cheese Cumin Coriander Pepper Oregano Salt Blanche peppers for 3 minutes, let cool and cut in half. Spray baking dish with cooking spray and line up the peppers skin down. Cook chicken in frying pan season with cumin, coriander, pepper. Let cool Sautee onion, garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add green chilies, cilantro, all the spices to your taste, and corn and heat through. Shred the chicken and add to the mixture. Stir in yogurt until the mixture is nice and creamy Stuff peppers, top with cheese and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. 6 servings 276 calories, 14 g fat, 13 carbs, and 23g fat Of course you could make it lower in calories if you use chicken breast and low fat cheese.
  18. I use it for rice and mashed potatoes. For mashed potatoes I put garlic powder and low cal chive cream cheese and mash it with a fork. It's really good!
  19. I cried everyday! Haha jk but it was tough preop. You just get through it and remember why you're doing it. Soon it will be a distant memory.
  20. Yes because muscle is more compact or dense. It weighs more per square inch or whatever unit of measurement used.

I was hoping there'd be some Italians with an authentic recipe from grandma or something! The Lipton soup thing does sound good too. I will try that too!
  22. It is so frustrating! I have absolutely no desire to even step on the scale anymore! Haha. But I've lost 54 pounds in 4 months so I'm not complaining. I just need to step it up a notch!
  23. How far out are you? I love kale but it's still a little too hard for me to digest.
