  1. Ok saw it at Walmart for 7 bucks! I'm going to try that when the mederma sample is gone!
  2. I had really easy csections so the sleeve was way worse for me too. If you had a rough csection, you'll probably think the sleeve was easier. Both surgeries are well worth it though and soon the discomfort will be a distant memory!!! Glad you're doing well iwilliam!!
  3. Also there's a complications section of this site. You can see what others have been through. I think most leaks happen right away but you're still at risk until about 6-8 weeks.
  4. I so would have had a bite of that!
  5. I've never tried bio oil but have seen it. For me, I am very white so my incisions are bright red. My doc gave me a sample if mederma yesterday and with one application, my scars are pink! I will update with the results after a few weeks but I was pretty surprised by the results so far.
  6. Abs

Everything on me is starting to droop. I picked up the Jillian Michaels Kickboxing dvd and started 3 days ago. Hopefully it helps. I have a friend who had the surgery a year and a half ago and she said there are definitely times when your skin doesn't keep up with your weight loss. Hopefully it catches up!
  7. Even on the cartoon I'm watching with my son, they are eating pizza!! Haha. I would never go as far to get rid of the TV though. Every day life is full of temptation, we just have to learn to deal with them. You know what sucks more than seeing it on TV? Smelling delicious food! I work across the street from a Shipley's donuts. It smells incredible!
  8. If advertising had no affect on people, companies wouldn't spend so much money on them.
  9. I'm almost 4 months out abd haven't really had anyone ask what my secret is. They just tell me I look good. I've lost 52 pounds so I don't think its suspiciously fast. It might be different when I've lost more but as of now I haven't had to explain myself.
  10. Yay, finally! Good luck tomorrow. Let us know how it goes!
  11. It's so true! Before surgery, everytime I'd see delicious food on TV I'd want it! One time I was watching a show about hamburgers so I went in the kitchen and made one at like 1 in the morning! Haha!
  12. I'm glad he didn't turn around cause I'm translucent! Haha
  13. I completely understand. I know they mean well but it's uncomfortable. Every day when I walk into work this guy yells, "you're shrinking!" For everybody to hear!
  14. I'm in line at Starbucks and the old orange man in front of me rubbed the cashiers arm and told her how pale she is. She gave him his change and told him to get out of the line haha!
  15. Awesome!!!! I'm wearing an18 now which I have never been in my adult life! Feels great even though I still have a long way to go. I can't wait to be a 12!
  16. Looks like you gotta 50/50 chance of the vst being less painful. Lol
  17. Everyone's experience is different. For me, I was never emotional about not being able to eat. After all, that is the reason I got the surgery! But it is common to be sad about not being able to eat more. I felt like I was in a weird haze for the first month. Like, is this all really happening? Did I really get this surgery? Along with feeling kind of lost because I wasn't eating, what should I do? If that makes sense. After the first month, I felt back to normal. The hardest part is learning the amount of food you can eat. Sometimes my eyes are still bigger than my stomach!
  18. You're not alone. I still get hungry but it's a normal, natural hunger feeling. Not ravenous like before.
  19. Csection was a breeze for me. The sleeve was more painful in my opinion.
  20. Are we allowed to take them?
  21. I went to Almanza and my experience was nothing like that! They wore gloves, 6 of us were sleeved, nurses were great, and was overall taken care of. It's sad this place has gone way down hill in just under 4 months! His prices have gone up so he's no longer the cheapest. I know price was a deciding factor for me, so there's is probably a lot better care for cheaper or same price now. I'm glad everyone is ok!
