  1. So sorry you're going through a rough time, Jane. Life happens and we can't be on point all the time. Don't be hard on yourself. You got this! Again, so sorry for your loss.
  2. I never ask even when someone is obviously pregnant. Goodness, it's probably just as embarrassing for the asker!!! I've never been asked that not even when I was. I'm fat all over. No area is fatter than the next! Haha.
  3. Well eating pureed food is scary haha!!!
  4. Wow!!! You look amazing! Congratulations to you!
  5. Oooh good luck flutterby!!!! So exciting!
  6. You rock, sleeve sister!!!!!!
  7. If that's the case, I'd do the same thing! Lord knows I'd gain the weight back no doubt! Congrats OP!!!!
  8. Wow! A lot of back and forth here! I'd like to know the background story too. Just out of curiosity.
  9. I started at 296 and am 219 six months later! Good luck!
  10. Woohoo! Congratulations, Laura!
  11. I only take a multivitamin. I got my blood work done and everything is perfect. I'm thinking you don't need all that!
  12. I just read a post on Facebook that said, "Don't try to explain yourself to stupid people, you aren't the jackass whisperer" haha
  13. When I went a girl came back with only a birth certificate and license.
  14. If it's internal it could be bad gas?
  15. I have to agree with the sex aspect. My husband is 160 pounds and 6 feet tall.
  16. Also I'm 6 months out down 76 pounds. I eat chocolate once a week. Don't look at it as cheating, just living normally!
  17. Oh come on! One french fry?!?! I snag one anytime someone near me has them! Don't beat yourself up! You'll go crazy!
  18. Drinking too much used to cause a horrible pain in my chest. Now I'm 6 months out and can drink like I did before surgery.

I met my husband on MySpace! Good luck! That'd be awesome to find someone who has gone through this journey too.
  20. I wish the snip appointment was on my husband's bucket list :/ I want to visit Machu Picchu Climb a mountain in Colorado Hike in Bryce Canyon and Zion Scuba dive Be able to run Become a nurse
  21. Fried anything makes me sick. Rice sits very heavy in the sleeve. I would avoid it for now. I'm six months out now and can only eat a couple of spoonfuls of rice. Also if it was a creamy cyrry that's also very heavy, but I think Chinese curry is liquidy, right?
  22. I had hair loss at about 3 months but I think eating lots of protein, taking vitamins, and nioxin has helped it grow at the same rate it's falling out. Now I'm 6 months out and my shedding is normal. I have a client who had the lapband and her thick hair got really thin. It took about a year but its thick as ever now.
  23. I think hormones cause the sleeve to relax. I'm not sure but it makes sense to me haha!
  24. Wow!!!! That is really harsh. Before surgery, I worked out everyday with minimal weight loss. I've lost 50 pounds 3 times only to gain it back. I have 2 small children, work, going to school to be a nurse, and take care of our home. I think its safe to say I'm far from lazy or pathetic! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this but please don't believe that crap! I thought about you today. Wondering a) where have you been? And have you set a date yet?
