  2. Hi!!! Im drinking Isopure and protein smoothies! Watch the sugar tho!!!
  3. Try googling full liquid recipes or ideas. Im 5 days out and on full liquids (per my nut at discharge) I had 2 tsp of pudding. My sleeve said enough! I been straining tastier soups so I can get the awesome flavor w/o the chunks. I have also been really working on putting myself on a drinking schedule, so 10ozs from 10-11. 1145-lunch 1- 10 ozs... Etc. Be encouraged!!!! It is SO challenging, but we can do it!! We WILL do it!!!
  4. If I feel even a ounce of discomfort or pain I'm freaking out lol!!! Anyone else feel that way! 5 days out!
  5. Is this normal????? Sleeved on the 17th. I swallow liquids with no issues and been doing okay on Soups, but I feel full all day!!! Don't wanna force a leak. Any thoughts or suggestions?
  6. Im taking three weeks off! I hear ya on the baby food! Its hard not to act selfish and scream at my loved ones "dont you know I cant have what your eating?!?, Stop bringing food around me!" Lol. I know I will feel loads better once I can get in some pureed turkey (dripping sarcasm)!
  7. Hi deltrans44!!!!! Glad your doing well. Dont beat yourself up about the cheese, but don't do it again! Lol Did you get to go to full liquids once you got home??? The Whole Foods Market here liquified me a corn chowder and it was fantastic! Im trying to get creative!
  8. Hi! I just had surgery Wed and Im feeling pretty good. The pain is tolerable for me, nothing near excruciating. My advice, and I'm a newbie, is to walk and hydrate. Do not become sedentary once your home!! Drink as much as possible!!!!!! You will do great!!!!!!!
  9. I am a person who keeps iphone in hand! With that being said I needed something I could track water and protein with and found two apps that could help me with that! Water Tracker and Protein Tracker. Does anyone else know of any good apps? I have myfitness pal, just wanted something a little more specific.

  15. Been here since Wednesday and Im finally going home! I am ready! The most challenging has been the small spasms and feeling my bowels become alive again. That trapped air feels horrific , today is much much better! I read on here to never trust a fart and you shouldn't, lol. Feeling pretty good tho, and Im jappy!!
  16. Thanks everyone!!!!! Day 1 was pretty good for me. I took FULL advantage of the meds and walked alot. Day 2 was alot of gas and air. It is extremely uncomfortable!!!! My doc wont let me take Gas X. They just want me to walk it off. This has been the most frustrating!!!! Especially when your bowels are just waking up! It is important to blow into the meter they give. You can actually feel your lungs get heavy if you dont, at least I did. It hasnt been as painful as it has been discomfort!
  17. I am officially sleeved!!!! Surgery went well, I walked immediately when I got to my room. I am sore, sore, sore but the hardest part os the air and gas! It sucks!!!!! But I'll keep walking! Jillb, praying all is well in addition to the 17th's!
  18. Yes!!!! Lets do this!
  19. Im right behind you! Blessings my dear and see you in the losers bench!!!!!
  20. Jillb, my prayers are with you..... I'm right behind you!!! Surgery for me is 8:45a. Congrats and prayers to all of us. Oct 17th our official "rebirth" date
