Yeah, pretty much, most of us struggled to get a few fractions of an ounce down in one sitting let alone 5-6 ozs. I would not worry about it, perhaps you're just ahead of the curve, bring it up with your Dr. on the next visit though.

I'm a week out and can easily drink that much. I can't eat that much though. My doc said it was normal.

I am also four days post OP and can drink 6 oz easily and quickly. I called my Dr this morning and the nurse said it was fine. She even told me I could go ahead and try like strained cream of mushroom soup if I wanted to slowly. So for days post OP I'm upgrading from clear liquids. :)

I am exactly 5 days out as well. It is so much easier to get fluids down today then it has been. But my trend is about 5oz - 8oz per hour.

Oh yeah liquids go down much easier. When I was 5 days out It seemed like I could drink and eat a bowl of cream of wheat or a full bowl of soup. With that said the challenge will be when you are at stage 3 soft foods then you will be fully aware of your sleeve. When I was at stage 3 I said good now I can eat soft foods, well I started with 1 egg,1 sausage and some cottage cheese well I barely got that 1 egg down and that was it.I was completely full.
