  1. Also, hubby brought home ribs for dinner so I took them off the bone and put them in the chopper with a lil bbq sauce..... Nope too soon for beef also. I sure learned alot today!!!!! Smh! And it cost me a great deal of discomfort!
  2. So I was moved to purees Tuesday and this morning had a cpl bites of my sons eggs and some corned beef hash. That was cool. At lunch nibbled down 3 shrimp and the bottom of a very soft crab rangoon. That was ok too. The mistake came with eating the other 3 pieces of shrimp too soon... PAIN! Never again!

  4. Its funny how diff docs are. I started pureed/ soft foods Tuesday and it helps tremendously. Things have been going slow. I chew until I am barely swallowing anything. I havent had any issues other than filling up super fast!
  5. My NUT told me that it doesnt have to be sup er smooth, but no chunks. Tuna and chix salad was fine to eat. It hasnt bothered me a bit. I broke down a turkey meatball and ate that fine as well. (1/2 of one) I just chew really really well!
  6. yes babies tend to do that!!!! Congrats! How far are you out from your surgery? Just be conscientious of your eating. We want you and baby healthy!!!!!!!!!
  7. Whats the difference? Im on purees but I ate slow cooked chicken. I just chopped with my fork until broken up and then ate it! Went down fine!
  8. You lost all your hair??? Did you have a hard time getting Protein in? I only feel nauseous when I first wake up. Once I drink something I feel fine! I am sorry you feel that way often!
  9. Im doing well too!! Lost 24 pds and I am doing decent on liquids. I drink 16 ozs in a sitting so try and get 3-4 of those in. I also drink rtd Isopure. Glad everyone is doing awesome!!!
  10. My nausea is fine except for when I first wake up. Anyone else feel that way?
  11. I tried 1/2 a turkey meatball today with a dop of marinara and low fat cheese. Meatball mushed of course and it was good. Also string cheese

  15. 1. Shop (I just want to enjoy it again!) 2. Go skating with my kids 3. Walk... Walk.... Walk 4. Sit the duration of one of my son's sporting games without my legs going numb or back hurting. 5. Play outside with my kids. Build snowmen, create angels and throw leaves
  16. Wow! How far out were you before they discovered your leak? You are in my prayers... What alot to go through!!!!! I get my 64 ozs in easily. I drink about 16ozs in 45 mins to an hr and yesterday drank a bottle of Isopure in about 30 mins. I burp long, but I dont hurt. I am nervous about eating, but excited at the same time. One gal on here gave ideas for excellent recipes on pureed. I think I will get a petrie bowl and eat from that. Thanks for being so helpful!!
  17. Thank you! I am a Pinterest addict! I have a board called the "After Bod" lol!!! It does help to pin all the cute clothes I will be able to fit one day soon!!
  18. Good advice!!! Taking heed! I was thinking 2-3 ozs?!? I am able to drink lots of liquids tho. Were you able to drink liquids pretty easy? (After healing, I read ur story I am so grateful you are doing better)
