Oct 8th here. I started at 318 and weighed 268 today. 50 freaking pounds! I get to start soft foods tomorrow thank goodness. So tired of not chewing my food! Heath

Still in the hospital, was able to get a,whopping 15cc in fluids in today. Dr's say I am just really swollen still, I guess the good news is I haven't been hungry since Sunday. I mean nada. So far with pre-op diet until today I am down 28 pounds. I would definitely suggest the gas x strips, hospital solution to gas is walk......whatever!!! I am going to quit rambling hear and go crop dust the nurses station!! Lol Heath

My surgery took an hour, it took 12 hours to get out of recovery because of no beds in the hospital. I just got back from the leak test, no leak but I seriously feel lousy know. Heath

Hello All, I want to thank most of you for helping me feel sure of my desicion. I haven't posted much but I have read nearly every post. I was sleeved on 10/8/12 and am laying in hospital reading thus forum. So far no issues, mild pain that is it. Thanks guys Heath
