  4. I just tried Muscle Milk for the first time. I was traveling and ran out of my supply. It was DISGUSTING!!! So incredibly sweet. I could barely choke it down. Ugh
  5. I wasn't going to tell anyone but I told my Chief and one other co-worker. Both have been extremely supportive. It was sort of a relief to tell my boss because then he knew what was going on with me while going through my change.
  6. I took four weeks off Sorry you are feeling rotten. Soon enough you will be up strutting your stuff! You got this!
  7. Guurrrlll!! You look great -strut your stuff! Hooray for you. Keep up the great work. You got this!
  8. My face first, then my tummy,my thighs, and then my feet. A lot of people have commented on my face looks thinner.
  9. How are you feeling?? Hugs and prayers coming your way!!
  10. I am going back to work on October 19. I took 4 weeks off total. But keep in mind I had vacation time that I needed to use up. Also I'm a firefighter/paramedic so my job is very physically demanding. I felt it would be dangerous to myself, my crew and my patients if I went back early. Who is your Dr?
  11. Totally awesome!!! What kind of exercise are you doing? Also can you give me an idea ons typical days meals for you?
  12. The gift that keeps giving!! Maybe it's because you are taking in lots of Water and being conscious of what you are eating. You are taking care of your body and its showing you appreciation.
  13. I took 4 weeks off, however, I am a firefighter/paramedic and my job is very physically demanding so I wanted to play it safe. I felt it would be putting my crew,my patients and myself at risk by going back too early. I also took the time so I could buildup strength and stamina. I'm walking between 4-7 miles a day but still unable to do core exercises. I was sleeved on 9/18 and go back to work 10/19! Best wishes for a successful journey! You got this!
  14. Strut your stuff!!! Woo hoo You got this!! Good job
  15. I was on lexapro for about a year. I gained about 20lbs on it. Had much better luck with Paxil. I'm 3 weeks post sleeve and I'm off my medication ( dr approved). Feel great BUT I can tell that my mood shifts if I don't get a minimum 3 mile walk in daily. I think medication wise -it affects different people different ways. My BFF gained weight with Paxil but not lexapro. Best wishes
  16. FIrebelle10 I'm a career firefighter (lieutenant) and since I'm a lady I'm a belle. 10 is my soccer number for college (1000 years ago). Plus I did the 60 mile breast cancer walk and this was our team name. Imagine a group of 20 something year old guys walking for breast cancer wearing pink t-shirts calling themselves FIREBELLES ( they were just thinking fire bells) To all sleevers past..present... And future YOU GOT THIS!
  17. I got sleeved September 18th at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox IL. It's a suburb of Chicago. I feel amazing! I'm walking between 4-8 miles everyday and I'm down 27lbs since Sept 5th. I'm ok on getting fluids and working on protein but I'm feeling super strong and healthy! I have been off anti-anxiety medication since 4 days before surgery! Feeling great I have found that there has not been a single day I have regretted my decision. It feels like a blessing. God has given me a second lease on life and I'm going to embrace it. Wishing all the sleevers all over all my best! You got this!
