  1. Also the shrimp rolls were served cold with soft wrapper while Damon rolls were hot and deep fried which is less kind to my sleeve
  2. I've had the salmon rolls and the shrimp rolls. Salmon was kinda spicy but I was able to eat half of the order each time I went.
  3. I go from comfortable and after one more bite I get that "after the 4th plate at a Chinese buffet roll me out the door miserable" feeling. It's been hard for me to find that satisfied sweet spot and not inadvertently taking that last bite that leads to 30 minutes of misery but I'm learning. And like the few others above the sniffles is a big indicator for me. No hiccups or sneezes but my nose gets runny when I'm full
  4. my surgery was 10/25 so about 4 1/2 months now I believe. I was 230 in the pic and as of this morning was 164. I have had such an easy and effortless recovery, I couldn't be more thankful for my decision to change the path I was going down. I've been very open with everyone I have come across about my surgery if the issue of food or weight loss comes about and have had nothing but positivity and support. Now part of that may be because I have been blessed with great family and friends, may be because anyone who knows me will know that if they roll their eyes n talk **** I might roll their heads, and it might be because if they talk they are smart enough to talk behind my back lol. thanks for the ink compliment, I love my lil swallows
  5. you look great. like you are her smaller healthier much happier daughter. congrats!!!
  6. My friend just txt me a picture that was taken last February and I didn't even recognize the person I saw in the picture. I know it didn't happen overnight but what I saw in the mirror everyday wasn't what I see in pictures from that time in my life. I'd love to se everyone else's "who is this person" pictures. Where did you come from and how far have you come
  7. with the naked poop advocating girl or with big frank... cuz he is lookin pretty good, I wouldn't blame you lol

  11. I'm an ICU and ER nurse. I was sleeved on a Thursday and returned to work the next Thursday. Had to have a little extra help with the turning/lifting than I usually would but other than that I had no problems. I recovered on iv toradol my 2 days in the hospital and took the SL toradol every once in awhile the first cpl weeks. Had no problems and the worst part to me was the itching when the incisions were healing. Obviously you should go with your gut feeling but just wanted to share my recovery with you for some insight. I had no problems with the 12 hrs and frequently walking/bending/getting up/etc but all my coworkers knew I was having surgery and were very supportive and great help with pulling a little more weight (literally) for me while I recovered.
  12. Sleeved 10/25. No complications and easy recovery. I eat anything I want and haven't gotten myself into an exercise routine yet but have a moderately active job/lifestyle. HW-230, SW-218, CW 178. Tight 18's and xl/xxl shirts to 12/14 and m/l shirts, 38ddd to 34 ddd but less full
  13. I was sleeved on Thursday and went back to work the next Thursday. Work ICU so had to call in some favors with rolling help but I had no problems at all. It was nice to get back to the grind n not be stuck at home.
  14. Thank you I actually haven't gotten into an exercise routine as of yet. I plan on starting to walk/jog when it warms up a bit and have a goal to run a 5 k by the end of the year. I have a fairly active job as an ER and ICU nurse but other than work and home chores I don't do anything extra. Zumba would be fun, and I've thought about kickboxing as well.
  15. Thank you guys so much for the support and kind words. I wish u all the best of luck with yours
  16. Im quite pleased with my results and Im sure you will look even better since you're so active. Girl you would kick my butt, some days I have trouble with the pickle jar lid lol I need get into doing some kickboxing and yoga and zumba, and will. I eat whatever I want just not 5 pounds of it like I used to. I didn't get my sleeve to become a carb nazi or anything I needed help with portion control and boy did I get it

  20. heres some before and after face pics too. Most people that comment on my weight loss say they can definately see it in my face.
  21. I know how much myself and everyone else love comarison pictures. I hit 50 pound loss a couple days ago (HW 230 CW 180) so I thought I would take update pics. Also have bare belly and arm pics for those that are curious about loose skin along our journeys. So far with just 50 my skin is good, arms are flabby but still alot of fat hangin in there and I've always had very large arms, also skin on abd is good so far, I can tell a little more give in skin on upper abd but I'm hoping over more time that it will keep tightening and I can avoid the plastics in the future. 30 pounds til goal now Hope these help those that are very newbies and those considering surgery
  22. I can fix this problem for you. Trade me scales . I can't wait til I step on one that says 170 lol
