  1. Sorry, but I have a had time taking the steelers seriously when they're dressed like clowns
  2. I'm fighting myself from reading the thread. Just from what y'all have said, I'd be wasting my words and time. I know I would not reach the unreachable and therefore... I'm going to go shopping for some new boots
  3. Well.. Mr misguided creeped me out
  4. I did all my own research when it came to the sleeve. I just wish when I was deciding on the band some one would have slapped me up the side of my head and said.. Don't be a fool
  5. Yippee! High five to you both;)
  6. Exactly, Beanman... I'm not even going near the band forum. There's so much I can't post/respond on because so much is under a general area. Obviously, my name is going to spark more than what I want. I'm not around to talk bandsters out of anything or suggest one WLS is better than others. BUT.. I am here for people interested in the VGS and want to know why I chose it over the band.
  7. WTH... Stripper name: Kitty Titties!?!? SMH
  8. Hahahahahaha .. I love how Alex asked "can't we all just get along?" I find that hilarious after 10+ years of dealing with us. Hehe .. Come on Alex.. You're not really serious are you?
  9. Heh.. Maybe we should just stay here and make it our stompin' grounds. I can't notice anything anyone I know is posting. If it doesn't get a bit cleaner it's too much of a hassle to work through for me
  10. My daughter has full coverage in the states but is going to MX because of the experience our particular surgeon has plus the excellent care that is receieved. I couldn't find a surgeon here in WA that I was truly pleased with so I returned to MX for the sleeve. I've had so much success with MX surgeons that I will return for plastics. It's all in the research you do. Not to say the states doesn't have excellent surgeons.. It's all in your comfort level that counts
  11. OP.. I can't seem to make the site work for me to search on my own so I will have to ask.. And I apologize if I'm wrong. Are you the one who had all the regrets in the beginning? You've done so well and you look amazing! Congrats!
  12. Thousand of people fly home from mexico after surgery without any complications. With precautions there's no danger. I think most drs who say 30 days are covering themselves from issues that have never happened. If you get a clot and happened to be flying.. It's a sure bet you'd have gotten it sitting at home as well. Don't blame the docs here in the sates.. It's a sue happy country.
  13. I'm sure, prior toWLS, you were aware that the sleeve doesn't cure obesity and as many have said, it's a tool that is to be used to assist you in losing weight.
  14. Yep.. And apparently I'm in search of grocery bags and cremation/burial options
  15. LOL.. Some is seriously wrong with my auto complete.. And the edit option won't work
  16. Seariously .. We're all Big Fat Friends
  17. My info is under "my story" The surgery was more radical but I'm free of chronic complications, (including death), maintenance, and I can eat healthy foods. I'm now healthy as a horse but 10 times smaller
  18. And they thought were full of drama before? Bwahahaha...
  19. Yep.. There ya go! A protein shake toast. Congrats mizzzzz Laura
  20. Grrrr... It's upsets me that the forums have combined. I don't want to be part of anyplace that promotes the lapband. SMH ... ARRGGHH! Aaaaaaleeeeex!
  21. Lap band has a very high complication rate compared to other WLS. I agree it should be banned.
  22. Although a few days should be fine.. One NEVER knows how recovery will turn out. I could have flown home the day after, but I stuck around for the leak test and .. Vacationed a bit like a tourist in the long lost sun. Some on the forum couldn't even pull up their own panties without assistance. Everyone is different.
  23. Umm.. So our rants and raves are shared with the band and bypass etc people? Too general for me. If I wanted to be with the others I wouldnt have join VGS. *growl*
  24. You are in my prayers and hope you recover soon
