  1. Happy Happy Birthday, Miss Laura Regift it to her
  2. Good luck, but it is very important and your dr is correct in his reasoning. You have a good surgeon. Some people have symptoms and some don't so it's a toss up if your eroding or not
  3. Oh, and I get my bike from the shop today so I'm so out the door.. And no doubt soon to be sore
  4. Well.. My dad who is 85 won't be here this weekend. No, instead he's driving his big ass motor home 400 miles to Idaho/WA border to go fishing with his 90 year old brother! Seriously? The guy thinks fishing in Hells Canyon is more important than spending time with his daughter who he says never eats anymore! No figure! Love that guy to death
  5. Are still on meds?
  6. You still have a lot of time so don't worry too much. Some say they only used BC and DL.. But that's not something I would even think about counting on. It's easy to get into MX it's getting back in to the US that can be the problem Here in WA they won't even let us cross back and over with Canada w/o passport or enhanced license.
  7. I had my MIO to add to water and then I ordered soup and drank the broth.
  8. If it comes down to it can you get an iron infusion? Would hate to have you postpone your surgery
  9. I used to get this when I was banded and it was actually my esphogus that was causing the problem. Did you have a hernia? Stress can also cause different restrictions regarding the esphogus. Just throwing things out there for you
  10. If its crude, rude or disgusting... It's lipsticklady. You didn't read it wrong
  11. Hundreds of us fly/travel.. Several thousand miles for some. Three weeks post-op shouldn't be a huge concern for clotting. Either way, walking in the airports, hotel, destination is your best medicine for recovery. Three weeks out you hould be back to normal IMHO EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.. but in know you can do it.
  12. Keep us posted, Vicki.. We're here for ya!
  13. Liar.. You're lead butt! Sheesh .. Get it right! Line leader my ass. In your kindergarten dreams maybe
  14. This is a triple post. She has more info on her other one so read there.
  15. Rejecting the mesh? Isn't that supposed to be absorbed? I'm confused with your dr. Yikes!
  16. Holy crap... You were one of his first VSG? I don't mean to alarm you, but I, personally, would insist on a different more experienced surgeon. Good luck and prayers your way Oh.. And delete your double post so you don't get responses all over the board
  17. Why do you have to be resleeving.. What's wrong with your first sleeve?
  18. Isn't this where you complain that you regrets doing the surgery because you were hoping to eat pizza and fries by now
  19. That could be true, but I know they make me want to sleep and if I slept I wasn't walking. Trust me.. I wanted out
  20. LOL.. I was hell bent on vacationing and wanted to recover quickly. Remarkably I had absolutely NO pain what so ever. I drove the staff nuts wanting to leave
  21. My Cordinator was our personal escort most of the time. We had a blast. We did venture out alone without any issue. EXCEPT FOR TRAFFIC! My daughter is a NASCAR racer and she was blown away by the driving in TJ.
  22. Everyone is different. I requested NO pain meds to be given what so ever. I'm a firm believer narcotics slows the recovery process.
  23. THAT'S SOOOOO DISGUSTING!!!! (yes, I'm shouting that)
  24. I think you're a little late at hijacking.. Fact what was the original post all about
