  1. Lol thanks. Getting dates isn't hard. As you can tell from the profile pic. I'm not exactly shy. I have no idea why it was so weird tonight. I guess I'm just not used to this body. No big deal about the dud tonight.
  2. Nooooo not even close. Oh well. I least I got into those pants I bought 4 months ago. Down to a 18. Who Hoo!!!!
  3. Well that was a huge disappointment. Oh well. He fell asleep on me after saying I was "cute". Back to my couch
  4. Thanks!!

First date with this man was over a month ago pre-op. Tonight is date #2 two and I'm 24 lbs lighter. Why am I such a nervous wreck?!?!? I have changed clothes twelve times. Wtf!?!!
  6. Girl. I was beyond excited. That was the first chewable thing I'd had since August 28th
  7. My new belly is extremely sensitive. I wouldn't push it of you're struggling. I ended up back at the doc two weeks in a row for dehydration cause I couldn't get stuff down. I would advise to try to follow instructions and follow up with your doc. Hang in there it gets better. I'm 3 weeks out and I'm on a puréed diet this week. Getting to blend beans and eat some flavor is heaven
  8. ((((((Sigh)))))) I have no idea. #beingsinglesucks!!!!!
  9. I'm out of town the next two weeks but I totally wanna get together with your guys. Thanks!
  10. Surgery 9/10 268 then weighed yesterday 9/27 244. 24# down in 17 days. I feel extremely blessed
  11. I feel the same about the two steps forward one back thing. I'm on puréed this week and I think I'm having the same issue. I'm truly not meeting my protein goal and I think I'm dehydrated again. Today I'm gonna focus hard on water. My kidneys are screaming
  12. I just ate a whole fruit cup!!! Like a mutha-effin Boss!!!!!
  13. Hi everyone. I'm Michelle. Sleeve on 9/10. I live in Arlington by the stadium. Would love a workout buddy
  14. Yay for no more camel toe!!!!
  15. I have never understood the scale. I'm 4'11" and pre-op I was 268 and a size 20. With my height I should have looked like a butterball turkey. I just carry it differently. All our bodies are different. Don't get caught up comparing yourself to others. Be your beautiful self. Keep doing the things you're supposed to and it will pay off eventually. Good Luck
  16. Breathing exercises to keep your lungs expanded. Ten deep breathes every hour. Use your incentive spirometer if they have you one. The low heart rate could be the effects of anesthesia or dehydration. Work on sipping when you can.
  17. Yeah that was rough. I got a few pillows to strategically tuck places. It gets better Sweetheart.
  18. I completely agree isopure tastes terrible. The Unjury chicken soup is awesome and I like the Unjury vanilla in plain oatmeal. I'm still losing the protein battle. It's a daily struggle for me. You aren't alone. Hang in there. I had my surgery on the tenth
  19. That's a good idea. I tried vanilla flavored Unjury powder in oatmeal this morning. It was really good. I don't have any unflavored protein but ill try to pick up some tomorrow. Maybe I can add it to beef broth and trick my brain into thinking its roast.
  20. I had my sleeve on the tenth. I can't manage to meet my protein or water goals either. I'm relentlessly nauseous this week and sooooo sick of protein powder. I just try to keep plugging at it and telling myself that maybe tomorrow will be better
  21. Hi I'm Michelle in Arlington, TX.. I'm 15 days post-sleeve. I can not seem to meet my protein goals. When does the nausea go away? Even the protein shakes that were fine last week are revolting now...
  22. Hi everyone, I'm Michelle. I am on POD 15. I'm still feeling shell shocked. I don't personally know anyone that has had this surgery so I'm so grateful for this forum. Just reading some of the posts encourages me to know that i'm not going crazy...it will get better..right?? I am struggling to meet my Protein and Water goals. Had to go get an IV last week cause I was dehydrated. It's so hard to control the nausea. But even with all that i already feel 10 years younger. I am 36 and 4'11" and my pre-op weight was 268. I was down to 250# last Thursday. I almost fainted. I haven't lost 18 pounds EVER!. Anyway thanks for the forum.
