  1. I also posted a thread about this very same thing. My Blood pressure is now 96/63. It's been that way about a month after surgery. I also freaked out but my Dr., said that is probably my "new" normal. As long as I wasn't weak or dizzy & my heart rate was normal - which it is - then he's not concerned at all. But you did say you were tired & dizzy, so there is a cause for concern. Check with your dr. You'd rather be safe! Please keep us informed....
  2. Hello??? Please update. Hope everything is ok. Don't leave us hanging. Been a little worried about you...
  3. Please keep us updated as soon as you know something. We'll all be sending you good thoughts that they will have an answer for you & you can start on the road to recovery. Prayers coming your way....
  4. That is awesome!!! Good for you!
  5. 9/17 sleeved - 68 pounds down. Reached Onederland! Yippee!!! Congrats to all!
  6. Thank you Richard. I figured if my drs aren't worried (and believe me - they are very diligent & on the ball) then I won't worry. Like you said, I always stay hydrated, and really have never had a bad day since surgery. No gas pains, abdominal pain, absolutely nothing. To be honest I was released from the hospital on a Wednesday & probably could've went back to work the next day! You just see that low number & freak a little. It does go up a bit after I've eaten something...thanks again
  7. Has anyone experienced low blood pressure after surgery? My normal used to be about 117/80. Now the last few times the dr has taken it, it's been in the high 90s over high 60s. Both drs are not concerned because I feel great. No weakness or dizziness. I was sleeved 9/17. I also should mention that pressure was always done on an empty stomach. Just curious...
  8. I was sleeved on 9/17 & almost 70 pounds down. I can't really tolerate eggs & water taste funny to me now. What I do is add crystal light, but not the whole amount because it tastes too sweet. Then it's good. I know that something I eat one day,may not agree with me the next time. I just go with the flow. I feel great & don't regret this decision for a minute. I hope you too will start to feel that way. Good luck on your journey. We're all here for each other...
  9. Yes! Listen to Vogue...you need citrate.
  10. Wow! That is so awesome..congrats. You should be very proud of yourself.
  11. I now use M.o.m. Smooth Move almost took my insides along with what it was supposed to take. Too harsh for me. That's also my only issue...
  12. My prayers are with you Deb. right now your immediate health is what you need to focus on. VSG surgery will always be here. Hoping everything turns out fine & very glad they caught it in time. Please keep us updated on how you are doing..
  13. Thanks so much ProudGrammy & LOL Dar.
  14. When does it usually start? In a week it will be 4 months sleeved & so far I haven't experienced that yet. I have a lot of hair & keep checking but so far nothing.
  15. My moment was when I had to pull my feet up on the bed to put socks & shoes on. But the worst was almost to the point of not being able to reach myself for personal hygiene. Sleeved 9/17 68 pounds down & never felt better!!!
  16. That's awesome! You'll see how fast it'll come off. Congrats to you too!
  17. You are fine. While I was home the scale hardly moved but my clothes were bigger. Then the scale started to move & all is good. Don't be discouraged.
  18. I am officially out of the 200s!!! 199.5 - I'll take it. Just had to share. Sleeved 9/17, 267 starting weight...
  19. That's got to be the hardest thing for me as well. We've spent many years eating a certain way & it's really hard to change it all. I've slimed & thrown up & I hate that feeling. I also struggle with slowing down, but I know how important it is... Good luck to all of us!
  20. I live in Franklin Square LI, but I was sleeved in Manhattan. I wish there was a support group at 7pm on LI. I know there is one at 630 at Winthrop but that's too early since I work in the city. Do you guys know of any later groups?
  21. Such awesome news! Congrats....4 pound away from 199. Can't wait - its been a whole since I will see a 1 in front of my numbers!!!
  22. It kind of guarantees that you get in all of your protein for the day. I use one for breakfast to get it out of the way. The one I use had 25 grams of protein...
  23. Omg. I have major burping going on that never gets past my esophagus. This sucks! Has this happened to anyone else??? 1/17 will be 4 months out. Never happened before. Very weird...
  24. Thank you all for your great advice! You guys are the best...
