how are you all feeling? I was sleeved on Dec 10th at Mercy Medical Center on Long Island. How are you guys doing? my swelling is bad, but the pain is subsiding. I am able to drink water no problem, i had a small protein shake sample, like 3 oz. i have been able to take small bites of apple sauce, cottage cheese, plain greek yogurt. what are you guys able to do?

Hey ladies! I'm 24 from Long Island and I'm getting my surgery on December 10, I'm glad I found this thread because a lot of people I see on here are older, which is fine but I feel like we can relate better.

Am I the only Long Island sleever on here? I haven't seen any yet!

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a great night! I started my preop liquid diet yesterday and of course I caught what I thought was a cold from my two-year-old turns out today I have over 102 fever and I just feel like complete crap! I just want to be able to eat food LOL sorry for complaining I know a lot of us are going through it! Figured this was the right place to come. I'm at the end of day two so hopefully after tomorrow things get easier. It really is crazy that we can't eat for two whole weeks

YAY! I got my surgery date and approval from insurance company! My date is December 10th! My Dr is Dr Andrade at NYBG. Has anyone used him? This is my first post on this site so I am not sure how this works. I would love some advice as to what to expect. I am starting my pre op diet today so if anyone has words of wisdom or advice or anything, I dont know anyone who has got this done so I dont have any educated support. Thanks :)
