Day 2 Pre Op Diet & So Sick

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a great night! I started my preop liquid diet yesterday and of course I caught what I thought was a cold from my two-year-old turns out today I have over 102 fever and I just feel like complete crap! I just want to be able to eat food LOL sorry for complaining I know a lot of us are going through it! Figured this was the right place to come. I'm at the end of day two so hopefully after tomorrow things get easier. It really is crazy that we can't eat for two whole weeks

Good luck, and I hope you get feeling better soon! I just completed day 3 of my pre-op liquid diet, so I understand how you'd love to just have some regular food. But it will be SO worth it! Hang in there!

i would not worry so much. i was only on pre-op diet 3 days before surgery, in fact i was to have my surgery the day after i arrived, they decided to do it the day i arrived, so i had not even fasted before surgery. just get better and don,t worry.
