Me too! I always feel hungry. And I feel like I need to stuff myself so it will last awhile. I have to really watch myself.

I was sleeved 10/22/12. I started at 302. Now at 188. I stall every once in awhile but I work out almost every day and keep my calories under 1200. It seems to help.

My brain still has not adjusted to the quantity that I can eat.

Original BMI 46, current 35! Woohoo! Surgery date Oct 22.

I had to meet with my primary doctor one time a month for 3 months, meet with a nutritionist 3 times, and meet with a psychologist. Overall not too bad. I just hated waiting. Your doctor will be able to help you navigate it all though. As for my doctor, I have his cell phone number! How many doctors give that out?

Amber, I have United Healthcare. I had to go through 3 months of meeting their criteria but they paid for 80%. I went to Dr. Collier in Conroe. He is AWESOME! And they will walk you through the insurance nightmare.

Any suggestions for high calorie healthy Snacks? The doctor is really after me to get more calories in.

I take comfort in knowing I am not the only one. I can eat anything. If I sit down and eat then I eat smaller amounts but I can also graze all day long too. I am not normally a grazer so this makes nervous. I am just trying to make smart decisions but it has not been working the last couple of days.

So we went out with friends to Celebrate one of their birthdays. First it was an all seafood place. I don't eat seafood I was hungry but didn't order anything. So I had everyone asking me why I wasn't eating, what could I eat, oh how sad it was that I couldn't eat... Blah blah blah. No one believed that I just didn't like seafood. Then the birthday girl proceeded to tell everyone, even complete strangers that I had weight loss surgery. Have I mentioned that I am an extremely private person??? And I didn't even get to eat until 11pm. Pretty cruddy night out. Would have rather spent the kid free night on a date with the hubby.

I used Dr. Collier in Conroe. He was amazing. I am 4 weeks out and have been stalled for 2 1/2 weeks. Dr. says I need more calories. It totally sucks. Finally doing everything right and still not losing.

I just called my doctor. They said I probably wasn't losing any weight because I need to get more calories in. At least 1000-1200 a day.

Resisted a piece of toast and had cottage cheese instead. Getting really burned out on what I have been eating.

Thanks. It has been interesting that is for sure.

At least we know it is not just us. I keep telling myself "It has to work... It has to work... It has to work!"

Still no weight loss. One positive thing though is that before the surgery I would have given up if I didn't see any progress. Now I can't give up!
