  1. I was sleeved 12/17/12 and have lost 85 pounds which I'm very excited about and very proud of myself. My issue is I can tolerate eating anything- 90 percent of the time I stay on plan and make good choices but at times I eat things I shouldn't and so scared to gain weight. How are others whose new stomachs can tolerate anything handling themselves when self control is low.
  2. It is a little dry- I usually have some extra pizza sauce to dip it in and that does the trick for me.
  3. I found this recipe on Pinterest and it was sooooo good!! The crust tastes like real bread crust!! 3 eggs separated 1/2 tsp cream of tarter 1/2 cup of unflavored whey Protein powder 3 oz cream cheese ( I used the fat free) Spices ( I forgot to add some and it was still good) Pre heat oven to 375. Separate the eggs and whip the whites and cream of tarter until very stiff. Slowly sift in the Protein Powder to the whites. Using a spatula, gently fold in the softened Cretan cheese into the whites. Spray lasagna pan with Pam and spoon mixture in the pan. Bake for 18 minutes. Take crust out of the oven, add sauce and toppings and put back in oven until cheese is melted. I used Ragu pizza sauce, 2% cheese and turkey pepperoni. Enjoy Let me know how yours comes out. It was really very good- could hardly tell it was not a traditional crust!! Sent from my iPad
  4. I am a very picky eater and although its not as good as a real pizza it's pretty close. I love the fact that its so high in Protein and no carbs.
  5. I have not- might need to do so.
  6. I am not sure, I have never made it with out the protein powder - I like it because it helps me get my requirements in- and you can't taste it at all

    Rash

The same thing happened to me, it was from the pain meds. I went to the dr and he told me he sees this occasionally and after stopping the pain meds it should go away- and it did!!
  8. Yes I would like that- is there a way to private message on here, I could send you my contact information and we could try to plan something soon
  9. I am having the exact problem......maybe it's something to do with the New Orleans air lol. I am very frustrated. People keep telling me how I look like I lost weight am I'm thinking I'm my head you should see my scale. I just try to stay positive and keep trucking along although its soooo hard. I've lost about 13 pounds since surgery and my 4th week is Monday- and I feel that's extremely slow. I am having trouble getting all my protein in daily even though I try my hardest.....not sure what to do :-(
  10. I am 3 weeks out, can we have frozen yogurt from a yogurt store? I know they are fat free just not sure about the sugar content.
  11. I am having the hardest time getting down my crushed pills- it is soooo gross. I almost said screw it tonight and swallowed them whole but after I thought about it- crushed them and almost vomited trying to swallow them. HELP!!
  12. I am actually not on any medication for issues resulting from my weight, I too am very healthy - I'm taking something to prevent gallstones which I think everyone gets prescribed and taking an antibiotic for a UTI- both of which have to be crushed. I actually tried it in pudding this morning as suggested in an earlier reply and it was much more tolerable. Thanks for your concern
  13. Oh....pudding is a good idea, I'm going to try that this morning. Thanks!!!
  14. Thanks everyone!! I'm not physically having trouble getting them down, they just taste so awful. I've tried water and now moved to crystal light but that crushed medicine taste is so strong. I'll get through it.
  15. Only 3 weeks, so I'm guessing I have a while :-(
  16. I take GNC Solotron - they are not bad- a little sweet but I don't have any trouble getting them down. I'm also in New Orleans- not sure where u live but I got them at the GNC on Magazine
