My passion is helping people overcome barriers placed in front of them by insurance companies looking for excuses to not honor their obligations.  At 405 lbs. and a BMI of 61, my first bariatric surgery insurance appeal was my own - way back in 1994 - and long before surgery was as accepted as it is today.  I won and have maintained a 175 lbs. weight loss.  I've handled over 10,000 insurance appeals since starting this advocacy practice and it never gets old hearing about how we've helped someone re-acquire their life and health. Our practice was acquired by PRIA Appeals and we are still working on behalf of patients everywhere - the best work one can imagine!
