  1. Hehe I felt like I was wasting my young years being overweight, constantly yo-yo dieting since I was 13. Best thing I've ever done! Now I get to live and enjoy my youth
  2. You could make scrambled eggs at home, measure out 1/4 cup then use a teaspoon and actually count how many mouthfuls are there. Then only eat that many mouthfuls at the restaurant. Tell the waiter and co-workers you just had a coffee in the car and are still feeling full. Second option is to only order a juice and tell your co-workers you are not a breakfast person (lots of people I know aren't breakfast people and I don't think people would be suspicious). Thirdly you could slip some Of the food into your napkin and throw it away, then it would look like you ate more. This one is a bit extreme and I haven't done this myself. It's a bit risky because people would think you are extremely strange if you get caught.
  3. I was sleeved at 20, but I felt 40..... Now I feel my own age!!! Yayy. I'm sure you will feel a lot more lively, have more energy and be able to do a lot more things. If that means feeling younger then yes you will feel younger
  4. I get this too!! I can't sit for too long in the same position or my bum will hurt, when I am lying in bed I am constantly switching sides because my hip/thigh area starts to hurt. I also get bruises on the hip/thigh area, not sure if its from sleeping all night on one side or what. We should try to look at this as a positive but it can be quite painful!
  5. I am 8 months out and about 12lbs from my goal. I have been stalled for 3 weeks now but I upped my calories so hopefully that works. Everyone's different so you shouldn't compare yourself to others
  6. This is something that I struggle with as well. Before surgery I always felt fat, but I never new I was as overweight as I was until I looked back on photos. Now I am an AUS size 8 (US size 4, UK size 6) and I feel like I still have a bit of weight to lose. My friends and family tell me I should stop now but I feel like I need to keep going. I see myself as overweight, even though I know deep down I'm a healthy weight. But I see myself in the mirror and I just see so much flab. Anyway I'm sure it's just something we need to get use to
  7. I get a coffee almost everyday: a small skim cappuccino! Simple and you can get it from Starbucks
  8. I am currently at 27% (down from 49 woohoo) and am aiming for 20% at the moment. That is quite low for a female. 29% is fine, it's classified as average, so I guess it depends if you are happy being average
  9. Thank you so much for posting this!! I found this site (or something similar) about 3 or 4 years ago and was never able to find it again!!! So happy you posted this I've finally found it again
  10. I have that arm band too, not sure if mines as accurate lol. I always think the amount of cals burned is too high for the exercise I did
  11. Wow amazing job!! You look so good
  12. Oh yeah I was sleeved jan 20th 2013
  13. Thanks for all your replies. My stats are: Before: 112.4kgs (247lbs) Now: 63.5 (140lbs) Height: 5'4 My biggest piece of advice is to exercise, drink lots of Water and try and get your Protein in. My workout routine looks like this: Monday- I have a session with my personal trainer Tuesday- I train my client (I am studying to be a personal trainer now) Wednesday- I go to bootcamp Thursday- I train my client Friday- I work out at home Everyone should be lifting weights and doing cardio!
  14. Here's my latest before and after I wanted to share with you all
  15. I waited about a week and a half and was fine. My boyfriend had to be very gentle for the first month or so though so don't go too wild hahaha
  16. I know I love the gap!!! At the moment that's with feel shoulder width apart. My aim is to have the gap when my feet are together! My suggestion is to follow your doctors orders, I often skip breakfast which is really bad. I try to exercise everyday and I have a personal trainer 3 times a week. You don't need a personal trainer but it really helps!
  17. NSV- non scale victory So any weight loss achievement that isn't the numbers going down on the scale
