  3. http://www.surgery.org/consumers/find-a-plastic-surgeon I found this site. It seems to encompass *most* of the world. I think it will be a good starting point. Amanda Rae

  5. Take off and landing are the most "eventful" part of flying. Once you're in the air it is more often than not pretty smooth. Ask to have some tea if you're nerves act up. Before you're getting ready to land, let the flight attendants know it's your 1st flight and ask for help getting to your next plane. Given the nature your trip you could probably get away with carry on only. Then your belongings will never leave your company. Amanda Rae
  6. Excellent! That must feel great. Did you do your measurements too? Amanda Rae
  7. Hopefully my WLS will go well in Mexico and then i can feel comfortable getting my nips, tucks, and lifts there too. Amanda Rae

  11. I try not to speak for others but <----- disclaimer alert -----> I understood it to mean that although sharing the experiences others have shared may be hearsay and inadmissible in a court of law... On a site like this, it's relevant. Amanda Rae
  12. But if someone shares an experience that another had... Then that is exactly what it is. Passing along info. It is not guaranteed to 100%. How could it be?! "My friend went with Surgeon John Doe and loved him because..." "My friend went with him to and hated him because..." We are relaying info that we have gleaned from others. As we are adults I can only hope we take it as just that. Info that has made its way around thru channels. I too have read and heard he does 10-12 surgeries a day. I've also read he does 8. I also read he operates out of clinic located in a strip mall. I read that he no longer uses a recovery house. I read that he starts with the lowest BMI and works his way up. This is what I read. I allow for a "margin of error" in the feedback. Mostly what I've read about Dr. Almanza is that he is an extremely skilled surgeon that performs more surgeries per day than most. As I have a very high BMI, comorbidities, and a phobia of anesthesia I decided against Dr. Almanza. I chose a surgeon who specializes in high BMI patients and operates out of a hospital with a full operational ICU. But that's just me. Perhaps we should include a disclaimer when we post? Amanda Rae
  13. Who you choose as a surgeon is a personal choice. We are using this site for info. Facts. Experiences. Opinions. Etc... Amanda Rae
