  1. I love this thread. I'm pushing 400 lbs and started 2nd guessing my choice for the sleeve. I'm going to Mexico next month. I'm happy to see so many higher lb/BMI people doing so well. It gives me hope. Amanda Rae
  2. Btw, you're in the right place. I think I would have driven myself crazy without the support from this forum. Amanda Rae
  3. Amazon has them. Amanda Rae
  4. Not familiar with the app (yet) but I'm planning to do the 3Day/60 Mile Susan G. Komen walk this August. Amanda Rae
  5. I was thinking May or June 2014? Weather should be great! I agree the food on a cruise would be counterproductive. Resorts or condos? All-inclusive would be nice. Amanda Rae
  6. Soooooooo? Resort? Condos? Cruise? Thoughts... Amanda Rae
  7. Sneaky web sites! Amanda Rae
  8. I did search some West Coast cruises too. 4 night cruise from Long Beach Cali to Catalina to Mx and back starting at $410/person. Amanda Rae
  9. True but it should be in the general ballpark I'd think. Even so, we can make it 2012-2013 Surgiversary... But open to all? I don't want exclude... Amanda Rae
  10. Excess weight and/or excess skin. You'll blend in. :-) Amanda Rae
  11. Did you try Southwest? Amanda Rae
  12. Okay... Maybe not a cruise. Lol! But a tropical beach vaca to so off our awesome healthy new selves would be fun! Amanda Rae
  13. ... there was a way to have a Surgiversary getaway next year for our fellow Mexi-Sleevers? Say in, Puerta Vallarta or Cancun? Or a cruise? Idk... Just thinking out loud. Amanda Rae
  14. Hooray hooray! Looking forward to joining you on the other side! Amanda Rae
  15. My insurance excludes WLS as does my DH's. I'm doing the self pay route in Mexico. Amanda Rae
  16. And drinking a drink or two is not the same as getting drunk. The 1st part of you post seems to ask about having a drink. The second part is indicative of you wanting to become inebriated. I'd ask my surgeon about having a drink or two and I'd 86 getting drunk altogether. Amanda Rae
