  1. Just a thought, but maybe VSG has become the trend and people are leaping without doing enough looking? Or perhaps the food addiction part isn't truly being addressed preop? Maybe expecting a magical cure all? I'm not saying this is the case, but it's "food for thought."
  2. We had our own hospital wing separate from everyone at Almater Hospital in Mexicali. Plus being at ground level we did our walking outside in the sun. You have to go with the choice that gives you peace of mind, Rollargirl. As you can see, we all feel passionate about our choice.
  3. How was you experience with Dr. Aceves?
  4. My BFF has been less than supportive as well... And I intend to talk with her about it. Not via text tho. Too much potential for miscommunication and imagined subtext.
  5. I'm also 32. I was sleeved in Mexico on 3/18. I'm now on full liquids. No puking or sliming. I hope to keep it that way! So far my recovery has been pretty decent. Knock on wood!
  6. That will be a tough one for ppl to answer as they probably went to one or the other, but not both. And many feel loyal and protective of their hospital/surgeon. I think your best bet would be to list the pros/cons factual only of the two places and see which meets your needs. If there is no price difference then it should like comparing apples to apples. 7. Best of luck! A safe and successful surgery!
  8. Runny nose. Hiccups. I sneeze about six or more times in a row and get the hiccups.
  9. I'm glad it all went well for you.
  10. Oh no! The in house financing was the only way I made it work. I hope they are able to keep it as an option for others.
  11. I refuse to become fixated on the scale. I waited 2 weeks until my doc appointment to weigh in and was down 27lbs from surgery. My next doc appt is in 3 weeks. I will weigh in again then.
  12. I'm glad the surgery went well. Praying for an uneventful recovery!
  13. Congrats! Beautiful baby girl!
  14. Going on 2.5 weeks postop, but so far? Yes I would.
  15. I like Sweet Dreams and Bengal Spice (decaf chai).

  17. Praying you have a safe and uneventful surgery/recovery. Amanda Rae
  18. It sounds like a gb attack. Idk of anything other than surgery to resolve. I lost 100 lbs on WW and then my gb went from silent to screaming almost immediately. Worse pain than labor. Sometimes so bad I'd be laying on the floor crying. My pain threshold is pretty high too. It got so bad I was constantly vomiting and crying. They admitted me right away and took that bad boy out!
