My highest weight was 405 lbs and I still have a ways to go before I hit goal, my current weight is 298 lbs... Buuuuuuuut..... I'm thinking about plastics and planning accordingly now. I will definitely need tummy, thighs, arms, and breasts nipped and tucked. Maybe the double chin. Anyone know how much can safely be done at once? I don't want to do too much at once but I don't want to live in a constant surgery/recovery state of mind. Tummy, thighs, and arms are my biggest priority. They will be the ugliest and "I Can't Believe They're Not Mine" bras will pick up the slack for awhile. All feedback, especially personal experiences, very welcome. I may be a "medical tourist" again for this.

I've been shedding for about a month. Some days heavier than others. I really want to color my hair, time to trade my Summer color for an Autumn color but I'm nervous about how coloring it will effect my shedding.

Special K cracker chips, unless I add hummus... Fresh fruit and fresh veggies (hooray!!!). Most everything else lands like a ton of bricks.

What's the Worst Diet Advice You've Received?

WW leaders have to be members and have worked the program to run meetings. It seems like common sense to me... Or is common sense an oxymoron nowadays? -

Muscle does not weigh more than fat. A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. Muscle takes up less space and is more dense. You are burning fat and building muscle. I'm guessing if you are tracking your measurements you will notice bigger number results. Also your clothing will tell the tale. Quit weighing yourself daily and try to break the mindset that a plateau or stall is a bad thing. Our bodies have a lot to adjust to with this surgery and subsequent deficiencies and weight loss. As long as you are making good decisions fueling your body then your results will make themselves known. In the mean time remember, you've traumatized your body with this surgery. Try not to second guess how it adapts to this trauma. Make good balanced choices and do a challenging yet safe exercise regiment and quit fighting nature. -

I think it is a bit premature to be disgusted and angered as we do not have all the facts, just speculation and hearsay at this point, about what happened. What we do know is this: Rox passed away. Dr. Aceves was her surgeon. I hope we can all agree that Rox and her loved ones should be in our thoughts and/or prayers. -

If you're done then you're done. But don't blame him for not being in the same place you are. Own it. -

How horribly sad to read Rox passed away. How can any doctor, no matter which side of the border, give us quality care if we do not give them full disclosure about us? This should serve as a very real and sad reminder of how important it is we give full disclosure about our medical history. My sympathies to Rox's family and her surgical team. So sad. -

You can do it. You really can. The first step, in my opinion, is when you are able and willing to truly remove the word "can't" and honestly acknowledge the correct word is "won't". The first big step is owning your choices. Every time you find yourself straying or wanting to stray remind yourself you are choosing to deviate. You are choosing to eat too much. Make bad choices. How on earth can we be successful if we aren't accountable? You can do it. Now, do it.
