Well I had a very similar situation that happened to me actually every day for about 5 days after surgery- I was that cold and shivering and everything EVERYDAY- I was literally walking around with 3 shirts on a hat on my head two pairs of sweatpants and two pairs of socks and gloves and socks then covering the gloves on my hands- this was pretty much an all day event for me for 5 days but it was immediately after surgery- teeth chattering and shivering and everything even with all the above on!

I go to Smoothie King quite often- I ask them to give me a kid's size gladiator- I do get fruit and stick with raspberry and blueberry or one of those and mango- I do ask them to use half the fruit to reduce carbs but still a great high protein low carb option and it keeps me full for hours and takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to drink the whole thing and I am just over 6 months post op-
