JackieV got a reaction from Greeknugget in 1-2 lbs consistently?
Yes, after the pre-op and first month, I've been losing 1-2 pounds about 8-11 per month. I thought this was slow but I am just shy of 6 months post op and I'm down 95lbs. When these smaller numbers add up, they lead to huge accomplishments.

5 to my surgeons goal. I am thinking I have anywhere from 40-70 until my final goal. I plan to play it by ear and see where I am most comfortable.
My biggest piece of advice is to listen to your body. It took a few months for me to stop eating once i felt satisfied. Early out, I would eat to clear my measured amount or until I was uncomfortable. Now I stop at the first hint of fullness.
I make sure to eat lots of Protein but I don't treat this as a diet. If I want something bad enough I will allow for it. I really love my sleeve because I can have 1-2 bites and be over the cravings. From time to time I will notice bad habits creeping back and I zap them quickly. Whenever my weight loss starts to slow or i feel like i am slacking i will cut back to the basics of protein and low carb.
The plan I've been following is 800-1000 calories, 60+ protein and under 70 carbs. I was on a stricter plan but my nut changed things after a few months since I had already lost a lot.
I also think it's important not to compare yourself to anyone else. I remember being so frustrated that I was behind everyone else. After the crazy beginning loss, I've been averaging anywhere from 1 to 3 pounds a week, about 11-12 a month. It doesn't seem like a lot but time is on our side, it's added up to huge numbers.

Girl, I think you need to rethink your idea of success because you definitely are one. My God, to lose 95 lbs. is a huge deal ... and you look amazing. I'm at 400 pre-op and I would be over the moon if I looked like you do.
Give yourself a long overdue pat on the back
Congratulations!

Sugary 2/20/13
I'll be 5 months post op on 7/20
Starting weight: 356
Current weight: 281.2
Total lost: 74.8
I hit a stall throughout most of may and June but recently started losing again.
From last Saturday I went from 290 to 281.2 today. So 8.8 pound weight loss in a week.
I didn't have to do a pre-op diet so I didn't lose any weight before surgery.
My goal is to lose at least 5 pounds if not more each week.
Goal is to lose 25 pounds by 8/25/13
