5 Days PostOp - When does drinking get easier
If you add flavoring to water like Mio, Crystal Lite, Kool Aid drops, etc. water will be easier to drink. Flavor drops have silicone in them which makes it easier to drink.

Disappointed
Your body has to adjust to the weight loss. You are going to have some weeks or even a few weeks in a row where you won't lose anything. Like fr me this month I lost 1lb but lost a pants size and shirt size. Your body has to adjust and relearn what you are doing.

What Apps do you use to track your daily intake etc?
Ya its pretty cool app. The story starts with you flying in to a town after a zombie outbreak. You become a runner to go out and do missions and collect supplies for the town. So you have people talking to you telling you about your missions and gossip around the base. Also when they are not talking it play music that you have on your phone. I have a playlist set up with all crazy music to keep me going. Every so often (If you turn it on) Zombies will chase you. it will say Zombie 100 yards away. If you don't start running it will get closer and closer till it gets you and you have to drop supplies to get away. But if you run fast enough and long enough you can lose the zombie.

Post op are you able tolerate seasoning your food?
I never really used pepper and salt before surgery. But I am addicted to spicey foods now. Never liked spicey foods before surgery.

How to make shakes taste better
If you are using chocolate try adding PB2. PB2 is a powdered Peanut Butter. It doesnt have added sugar and also the fatty oils are taken out of it. It makes chocolate Protein shakes taste like a reese cup. You can either buy it online or they also have it at Giant stores. Vitamin Shop sells a off brand one as well that is just as good.

Anyone willing to post their then and now pics
The forearm tattoo is doing fine. I do have some loose skin under my arms but that is starting to go away since i been lifting a lot. The half sleeve will be a full sleeve and half uper chest piece this time next year. So working hard to tighten my arms and chest up. I have a leg tattoo and my leg muscles didnt go away at all. My legs did shink but The look crazy muscled out. Happy to say I dont have to do leg days at the gym. Carrying around 260lbs for 15 years was good enough. I do run a few times a week. So only place I would worry about is your upper arms if you have a lot of weight theere. Start lifting now to fill in the extra skin when it gets to the point.

What Apps do you use to track your daily intake etc?
Ok I don't have any apps that I us to keep track of what I eat but if you are looking for a runnin app. Zmbies, Run 5k or Zombies, Run full app is a great app. Its a story while you run and it motivates you by having zombies chase you. You can hear them groanng and breathing as they get closer to you. The k version will train you to do a 5k in 8 weeks. 3 runs a week. I am now on the full version. Sorry I know this doesn't help you with your question but you said you were slacking and getting out and moving will help as well.

What do you watch on Netflix?
From what I hear Jan or Feb. But I heard she will be sent to a new prison after what happened at the end of season 1. I guess she is getting more time in jail. But that is just hearsay from people in chat rooms and forums. But there is a few unanswered questions from season 1 they need to take care of before they ship her off to a new prison if that happens.

Headed to gnc today
Yes forgot about Isopure since I don't drink it any more. But it counts as Water and protein so its great for new sleeved people. I think Coconut and grape are the best tasting.

Headed to gnc today
If you go to GNC Quest Bars are always a good choice. They have tons of flavors and each bar is 20g of Protein. If you like pumpkin The GNC Lean shakes has a new pumpkin spice pre made Protein Drink. Can't wait to try it. But mostly the only thing I get from GNC is Quest bars.

I'm a morning person!
Well for me since I had surgery and lost some weight early on I started to sleep a lot better and not waking up 3-5 times a night. So I didn't sleep as much because I was getting a much better sleep. Take that extra time you have and get to the gym or walk/run around the block. Start kicking the extra weight in the face by triple teaming it with the surgery, eating healthy, and working out.

Protein Cupcakes with PB2 icing
Icing recipe is at the end. Wet Ingredients: 1.5 c no-sugar added applesauce (you can also use 1.5c od over ripe banana's) 2 eggs (or equivalent liquid egg substitute) 1.5 cups no-calorie sweetener (Splenda) 1 tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp. nutmeg Dry Ingredients: 1 c. Atkins All-Purpose Baking Mix 1 c. chocolate Protein powder ¼ c. unsweetened cocoa powder 1/8 tsp. salt 3 tsp baking powder Directions: Pre-heat your oven to 350. If you are me, this entails re-lighting the pilot, kicking the oven three times, turning it up to broil and then back down to 350, but I digress… Mash the bananas up in a mixing bowl (or simply add applesauce, if that’s what you are using). Why the bananas/applesauce, you might ask? Both provide a LOT of moisture for your end result without adding the fat of butter or oil. I don’t generally add oil to my baked goods, but your mileage may vary! Add in the rest of the wet ingredients and stir until eggs are fully incorporated. From here, what I do is usually put the dry ingredients in a sifter and sift it directly into the wet ingredients. You can either do that or mix them in another bowl, your choice. Stir wet ingredients and dry well until the mixture is the consistency of a pudding. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake cups and add one heaping tablespoon of the batter to each. Remember to tap down your pan after you’re done (just tap it against the counter to ensure there are no air bubbles at the bottom). Pop the pan in the oven for about 12 minutes. I may sound like a broken record but I cannot say this enough. Protein baked goods cook a LOT faster than their regular counterparts. The outside forms particularly quickly. I’ve found 12 minutes to be the perfect cook time in MY oven. Yours may be different. So don’t leave the kitchen. Go do something else while these are baking (tune in tomorrow for the protein icing recipe and that can be what you are doing…). Remove from the oven when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow them to cool fully before trying to eat one. All that will happen if you try to eat them hot is that most of your cupcake will stick to the liner. That’s no fun. Icing 8 oz. package of fat free or reduced fat cream cheese 1 package of sugar-free pudding mix (I used vanilla) 2 tbsp PB2 (omit, of course, if you are not making Peanut Butter icing) ½ c. milk

Is there a point where you loose more rapidly
Its different for everyone, but I lost a lot of weight really fast in the first 6 months. After that it has slowed down to a pound or 2 a week. I been on a stall for a month now with no weight loss. I am 8 months out by the way. I started at 360lbs and down to 221lbs.

The first 3-4 weeks after surgery was hell for me since I didnt have a pre op diet. So I was detoxing from breads, sugar, caffine, etc. I have to say I wasnt the best person to be around.
