I am 7 months post op and I have shrunk little less than a half in. I have also lost a half of shoe size. Was wearing 11 1/2 shoes now I wear 11's. Its very weird.

Not the Brazilian place. lol. I miss fogo de chao, it was a awesome place. Anyway The other day some how religion came up among friends and some people we were hanging out with at the time. For a while I didn't say anything and didn't plan to say anything. I didn't think I had to I don't judge people on what they believe or not believe and my friends know I am not religious and they are fine with it. Well I have a atheist bracelet on I got for donating money to a atheist website for the lady and here family that lost everything in the tornados. She's the one that came out as a atheist after Wolf Blitzer asked here if she thanks god for him letting her live. Anyway... One of the people we were talking to seen my bracelet and called me out on it. They said god loved me and that they would pray for me to find him. Well I have a very sarcastic/witty sense of humor. I said yes he loves us all so much that he created a place to torture us incase we don't love him back. I then turned to the girl that was the one being so outspoken about her love for god and asked her does she follow every thing in the bible. She said she did and when she breaks a rule she prays for forgiveness. I kind of got a chuckle out of it and two people asked what was funny. I said I guess ill go do hell because I don't believe in god but you will be fine after break most of the rules in the bible because you pray. I guess I am just get tired having to explain why I don't believe and have to answer how do you know that there isn't a god. But when I ask them the same question about believing in god and how you know he is real they said they have faith and the bible says so. Tired of it.

I love the quest bars. I have 4 boxes of them sitting down stairs. I use them as my snack meals. so my shake 2 meals and 2 quest bars. I love them

Atkins package got here today. Came with 3 atkins bars and a coupon for a $1 atkins frozen meal. The bars are ok but the quest bars still have more protein and less cal.

Creatine doesn't have protein in it. I took it a few years ago in pill form but this is a powder and you drink it. I never heard of it geling in your stomach. The only thing I was wondering about this product is how it tastes. http://www.vitacost.com/beast-sports-nutrition-creature/?prSrching=0

Has anyone tried Beast Creatine? They don't do free samples so cant taste it first. Any good opinions on this product? it's rated one of the best creatines.

Joe go but some. I buy about 4lbs of it every month and a half. Its awesome in chocolate Protein drinks. I think the little jar is only like $3-$4. I looked for about a hour today for coupons and what not for them, but nothing out there. Vitamin shop also has a off brand that is about the same.

This is good to know. Unfortunately, I don't live near a GNC and the only buying option I see on their website is whole boxes. You can buy single bars on quests website. You can also buy a mixed box that comes with one of each of there flavors. This is what I did after I was recommend them by my nutritionist.

Quest has a limit on samples. They will get more in. GNC has a promotion going on where you buy 3 quest bars you get 1 free. If you buy some and don't like them GNC will take them back. They are my favorite Protein bar and recommend them.

I added some more today. I personally called all the new ones I added so they are all good. Glad this post is helping.

Just because you can eat anything you have tried doesnt mean you should. Dont bring bad habbits back into your life. you might say ill just try a little or one bite. well that turns into trying more a few weeks later. So on and so on. next you are back where you started.

Thanks, i'll update the list. kind just sent me a free sample last week so thats weird. maybe they stopped giving free samples out for now? Also protos gave free samples to my hospital so I figured they would send them out to people as well. GNC also carries them if you want to try them. I was given the ok by my doctor a month after surgery. You might feel fine before that but I would give it at least a month.

I have come accursed more people that are overweight then are skinny that get upset when I told them I had surgery. I don’t know what is and why it is but it’s weird for sure. Just be you. You did this for you not them. I tell everyone about the surgery and have found that more people support me or are interested in it then questioning my decision. If they don’t like it oh well it’s my life not theirs.

I mostly keep my mouth shut when it comes to religious subjects unless they are verbally attacking a group of people in a public place. Then I tend to speak my mind. Ita one thing to do it behind closed doors but not in a public area where you have people around that you could be hurting with out knowing. Also when I am asked about my religion I am open to say I non-religious. Then I tend to get a lot of mean comments and bombarded with question after question. Most of the time they get mad when they are asked the same questions. Maybe because I still young and haven't delt with it as much as others and tend to be more stand my ground then most. I treat everyone with reapect till they disreapect me. I don't judge people on their religion. Like I said above I have heard many of bad things yelled my way and also have had damage done to my car because of a evolution sticker. I don't going around doing this to religious people. I hear that athiest are evil, etc. But I have seen more done towards me in the name of religion then I have seen from people that are non-religious.

Christmas was a pagan holiday before christians took it over Thanksgiving, 4th of july, memorial day, and halloween are not religious holidays So I don't see your dads point of view on this.

This story was posted in a atheist group on facebook with mixed results. Some say it was a good thing and like the idea. Others said that why do we need a monument and act like a religion which we are not. I agree with both sides. We are not a religion and should act like one. We are just like minded people that don't believe that a higher power created us. On the other side I guess some people have to support what we stand for because if we don't we will always be outcasts. Thats how I feel every time I am questioned about it and I have to explain myself.

Butter, Not sure what one you read about but there have been a few of them. There is one in a war vet cemetery that was made for the non religious that died in the trenches of war. There was also another one placed on government ground at a courthouse. A religious group put up a monument on the property then protested when the courts allowed the non-religious group to do the same. In the end the non-religious group was allowed to put there monument up as well. It has been defaced 3 times that I know of. But the religious one has never been touched. Why can one group of people demand so much and get so much but react over another group of people getting the same thing. It is sad really and is one of the reasons I don't like organized religion. I have been called names and my car keyed over my evolution sticker on my car. Religious people are wonderful. lol.
